this is football, not a damn math test
    Stats dont say everything.

Besides, why are you all tripping our squad, this is the best squad we've had ever since 2007. Our golden generation pretty much died after 2007. We played for a few years with only Nekounam and Shojaei as our legionnaires, now we have good experienced players, and upvoming talented players.

btw to the other who say this is the worst TM in terms of talent. I have to disagree.
      - Ashkan Dejagah -product of German youth setup - Bundesliga winner w/ Wolfsburg
      - Gucci - Top goalscorer in Belgium league. Went onto play for Standard (top team in Belgium)
      - Ando at his prime
      - Nekounam being Nekounam (much much better and more mature since 2006)
      - Seyed Jalal - One of Iran's best defenders ever
      Hajsafi, Khalatbari etc.
You can's really say this team was talent less.
      - Mahdavikia was way better than Ashkan, he lasted in the bundesliga for way longer, and was more successful in his european career
      - Gucci was the top scorer of the second division belgian league, and was benched in standard and only played a handful of games while we had Hashemian playing at Hannover in the Bundesliga (played in bayern, bochum, hamburg all in the bundesliga before)
      - Ando was at his prime from 2006-2010, don't get me wrong he is still great, but was better
      - Nekounam was also at his prime from 2006-2008 after his injury he wasn't the same (obviously he is still a great player, but he was better)
      - Seyed jalal now rahman raze playing in seria A in 2006
Hajsafi, khalatbari now, then we had Ali Karimi, Zandi, Kaebi etc.

The only position i think we are stronger now then back then is our LB (both pooladi and beikzadeh are better than zare and nosrati), and GK (haghighi, rahmati, beyranvand are all better than mirzapour, roudbarian)

overall our team was way stronger back then, but we still have a large pool of talent right now, and I'm optimistic about out future with players like sardar, jahanbakhsh, ezzatolahi etc.

^ Gucci was a top scorer in Belgian first division before he got injured.
Also I agree that the Branko team was better but this team is pretty talented too. Definitely better than what Daei and Ghotbi had.

Also lets not forget about Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
        Also Sardar Azmoun.

It's pretty sad that people will bring the team down just to somehow say Queiroz was some magician to take this shit team to the World Cup. Let's be realistic, if ghotbi or daei had Gucci and dejagah, we would have been in the 2010 World Cup.

And if you didn't have man boobs you would not be Mash Manboobi.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Mansourian is clearly the best ever coach of TM, the stats speak clearly in his favour. 100% win!!! You guys know how incredible that is!?

And Ebrahimzadeh by far the worst coach TM ever had, the stats speak for itself. And still people called him Persian Mourinho

Ghotbi had Mahdavikia and Ali Karimi instead and he still failed. Ali Daie had Bagheri and Mahdavikia but still failed

The typical counter to this will be that CQ took us to the WC. Yes, but just like always in came right down to the wire and lets be honest we got very lucky.
In 2002 and 2010 luck was not in our favor but in 1998 and 2014 it was.
The previous thread compared the success rate of multiple coaches in similar conditions and the same competition. You are dishonest even to yourself

Well this is comparing TM coaches. Overall similar conditions (maybe even better for current TM) and similar competitions.

Again dishonest. You are claiming TM opponents have stayed the same level in past 15 years and TM has access to the same level of talents and players.

After 2007 AC the talent pool has been pretty much been the same. I would even say it has been better for CQ.
Conditions have been the same though. I would even say they have been better for CQ. Especially in terms of IFF (not taking into account the last month) and media support.
