Brazil, Mexico & Chile offer HD for their leagues. Same with Argentina.

This is from this year's Copa Libertadores (Colo Colo, Chilean team) on Fox Sports. Pretty similar to Iran I'd say.

Same for other countries, the quality is similar to Iranian broadcasts

Poor "SD" quality of Iran live broadcast of sports

Argentinian league is HD as they show up to three games live each week in BEIN SPORT AUSTRALIA.

I used to watch it all the time. They have some quality players, but it's a shame that defending in that league is fully optional!

It's funny. They can pay for Palestine to make HD broadcast, but they can't provide it for their own people. IR mission has succeeded.

its awful quality and a clear and live reminder of how far we have fallen off the wagon over the last 36 yrs. What sad is that TV, radio, stadiums, roads etc are what meets the eye and one can clearly see. What doesnt meet the eye about iran's demise over the last 36 yrs is whats at the heart of our problems.

1 - IRIB doesn't see any money being made off of this, nor is it something that will get their top staff a promotion so they don't give a f***.
2 - Footballitarin's stream is actually lower quality than even the actual tv feed. (I'm not complaining).
3 - All networks and cameras in Iran now record and have the capability to air in HD, but for some reason they don't want to do it. It makes no sense. For example in Iran right now there are 2 HD (test) channels. They work perfectly fine, and they show international football in HD on those channels but they won't show Iranian football in HD!
4 - The only way it will get forced through is if AFC makes it a requirement just like the FIVB did. That is why Iran's World League Volleyball games are all recorded and broadcast in HD.
