The games against Sweden and Chile have shown that we are going to stop parking the bus infront of our goal. What is great to see is that we have improved our passing, which was our weakest point in the WC campaign. We had a passing accuracy of 87% (!) against Sweden, which is an impressive stat. With the absence of Nekounam, CQ is going to put Ebrahimi in the lineup and by the end of WCQ 2018, it is likely to see Ezzatollahi replacing Ebrahimi.
If Masoud can hold on his current form he may be considered as a part of TM in the near future, and I'm confident that he can deliver. His recent performances were promising.
Also I can see Beiranvand replacing Haghighi if he makes it to Europe but I'm satisfied with Haghighi aswell.

I think CQ is going to stick at the current formation (4-2-3-1/4-1-4-1)

Even though we will propably have 3,4 amazing strikers by then, CQ will stick to 4-5-1 defensive football. Ever since our last 3 WCQ he hasn't changed that system.
We will score through corners and set pieces+ counter attack.

Yes and good luck convincing anyone you're one of them! Those people have to read through post after post from a troll who keeps copy/pasting the same thing over and over no matter how many people show him to be wrong, just to bash a coach his idol doesn't like. Now add two more videos to your GN channel to prove you're only here to 'discuss Team Melli' and not bash its coach in a wacky attempt to stick up for Amir Mafia.

Seems like you edited several parts.

It shows rather how civilized I can be when getting insulted. When I liked discussing with you, was back in november 2014. Nowadays, it's the total opposite because you can't handle kindness.

Go home clipsport, you are drunk.

I didn't edit any of them. You can't even edit private messages.

Look, just please stop talking to me. Thank you.

One has to ask what the future of Vahid Amiri will be in CQ's more open playing style if it continues that way. If he was quick enough to get penalties and score against Chile. We might end up having a good depth of wingers now.

Amiri is a very bad defender though. CQ wouldn't like that to continue.

CQ definitely prefers to use Hajsafi in that left wing position. He was injured in those last two matches, that's why Amiri played.

All around Hajsafi is much better than Amiri.

And in 2018 we will easily play tiki-taka.

And btw, I hope it was bad luck or something, cause the open play you guys are talking about, especially vs Sweden, our defense completely riiiid on 3 different occasions, every one of them resulting in a goal.

I wouldn't anticipate a big difference in playing identity to the one we already have. Azmoun seems to fit in very well into the current TM as he is pretty good in the air and is much more self reliant on making plays than reza is. Also he has better vision than Reza too.

The two areas im most interested to see what happens in is:

                          1. Who will replace Nekounam? Will CQ move pouraliganji back up to his natural position of DM and bring in another CB or will he try out Ebrahimi or perhaps a new face like ezzati of Naft perhaps?

                          2. Will CQ continue to invite Masoud? I think yes given he's been playing really well for TM as of the AC but I'm not sure if he'll maintain a starting spot over the next few years. I think that with showing soroush had in Australia he proved to sync very well with the team in a very short period of time and fits in well with CQ's style. He stood out against UAE (or was it Qatar?) when he was given a starting spot....constantly husstling back and making key tackles and begining dangerous counter attacks with his through balls. As soon as he is back to playing in Foolad I expect to see him back on TM as well and hopefully slowly be given the same role he was begining to be given.

There's a middle ground TM needs to find. When we close up shop we are golden at defense. When we concede first, the floodgates open up. This happened versus Bosnia and Sweden. We can easily play more open against Chile and teams of shorter stature since our technique matches them. Against taller teams we need to work on possession mostly since we have little hope of scoring on setpieces.

It all comes back to finding a CAM and a CM that distribute

If Ezzatollahi keeps up the current pace, I fully expect him to be Nekounam's replacement in 2018. He'll be around the same age as Javad was when he became a starter under Blazevic. For the immediate future it's most likely Ebrahimi.

It surely is possible, but my post was directed more towards the short term or path to 2018 and not just 2018 itself. Hopefully saeid can get a place in Atletico's main team within the next year or so, that we he could realistically be brought in even earlier.

Also another side note: let's not forget CQ left out azmoun who had a whole year of experience playing for rubin's main team and still opted to go with Ansarifard instead of him. Should saeid be in a similar spot the chances that CQS would take someone like ebrahimi or another older DM over him is possible as well.
