IFF should start charging money and hopefully they can generate money from these games and attendance!
    IRI = FAILED

I think its great idea as it shows that Iran is a safe enough place to host these countries, plus, if IFF can negotiate decent sums of money for this , then it will only benefit our federation and eventually our TM as well. They can use SHirudi or Pas stadium and still have capacity crowds.

All the nay-sayers are not seeing the bigger picture: hosting Iraqi, Afghan, and Syrian games is not only an important source of revenue for Iran's facilities, it is the first step to convince AFC and FIFA that Iran can host larger tournaments. We need to accomplish these smaller steps if we ever expect to host a larger tournament/competition.

I'm not against Afghanistan or Syria. I don't want Iraq in Iran since they don't have the following or right to. Let them use Kuwait,Oman,UAE, Jordan instead.

I believe the only problem people could have with Syria is that IR might not charge it's fans and send the money to Syria anyway.

As long as Afghanistan doesnt think it a formality, they should use Azadi. It makes our treatment of Afghans look better and shows that we can host another team and get turnout as well.

Iraq does not want to play in Kuwait, Oman, UAE or Ordon or Qatar or Saudi cause the fact is that no arab country likes them except libanon.

And we do? I would imagine IR doesn't like them even more since they use them for political leverage As opposed to friendship. But that's straying from this discussion.

Whatever they decide, Ma nokare ina instim. If we want to give them any stadium they should be grateful to get it.

I think we should host all 3. But Afghanistan doesn't belong any where near azadi. That's our home not theirs. Let them
Play in Khuzestan or Tabriz if they want a big stadium.

I can understand not wanting to host Iraq after the way their team behaved in the AC but what bad experience do we have with the national teams of Syria and Afghanistan?

It would be a nice income benefit for iran (at least I'd assume the ticket sales would go towards our federation for hosting it) to have Afghanistan seeing how they showed up for their Olympic teams and it would be cool for our fans to see Japan up close and compare them to our TM.

As for Syria the poor ppl have nowhere safe to play, aren't we Iranians supposed to be hospitable ppl? Someone please name me one horrible thing their team has done to us that makes it a crime to host them.
Azadi is our castle we should not give it to any foreign team. Afghanistan can play in Mashhad stadium. Iraqis can have it in Khuzestan, but Syria? I hope not. We are paying for their government to run the show in Syria, and now I am sure we have to pay from our own pocket for the matches, Syrian and their opponent teams' accommodations. I sum it up here

                  Only objective

                  1. Host for Iraqi team in Khuzistan: We may get paid for our services if IR does not play the nice guy as they did for not asking for war compensation. (Kuwait is still getting paid for 1991 war)
                  2. Afghanistan: Their Immigrants in Iran are not rich so if there is a regular fee for the match they may not show up in numbers, so there will be not enough revenue plus the backlashes. If the fee is low they may come in numbers and have a good experience in Iran, but this causes for us to take the main expenses if we host it in Azadi. So I suggest to have the match in a less expensive stadium like Samen Stadium in Mashhad.
                  3. Syria. I don't want Iran to host them because we have to pay for everything. The money we can spend on our football and facility.

I still think this an IFF campaign to bring bigger venues to Iran. Either way I don't see any issues with hosting games.
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary

No. Why should they play there so they can say we're playing at "home" and use their bullshit pan-Arab propaganda too.

If Aghanistan and IFF believe Azadi will be filled with Afghan fans then i dont see why not!!! stop the racism, like it or not Afghans are one of the closest to us out there! all you folks see is taliban and forgetting their people are suffering as much as us and how would you feel if California would do the same to us and telling us to host Iran games (soccer or wrestling) in Alabama? stop the racism!

you all got excited hearing Iran was going to play in Stockholm, european members knowing very well that the stadium would be packed with iranian fans but now you feel superior? and think Azadi belongs to "us"! No Azadi belongs to the FANS OF THE GAME! that's what it was built for.

they got the numbers? then let them play. Also brings revenue, credibility & I thought games are about fun and friendships?
Syrains are suffering! Same goes for the Iraqis! Real IRanians will always stay kind and hospitable! It should be an honor to see them asking to play in iran, how would you feel if they had decided to go to Turkey instead?

As for Kuzestan, based on recent incidents and demonstrations by some fans I wouldn't hold any arab games there.

So Japan is coming to Iran twice
This is a perfect opportunity to play a friendly against them

                              Fully agreed UL jaan,

I hate it when I see so many Iranians behaving in such racist manners. In all honesty, it's hypocritical of any Iranian to feel the urge to hate on any other nationality because of race, ethnicity and other agendas. If anything our government is one of the most despised (If not the most) governments of the world, in our country people burn the national flags of countries like USA where I reside, yet I have always been treated absolutely as a true first-class citizen (Compare that to the poor treatment of the Afghans in Iran) Not even once have I felt unwelcome in California.

As some of you folks ma recall back in I believe 2000, Los Angeles hosted a friendly between Iran and US national team, where over 50,000 football fans turned up, almost filling Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, for easily 85%-90% of the crowd happened to be Iranians, did that slightly tick off the Americans? hell no, I was in the stadium myself and saw it with my own eyes. I remember some American media outlet praising the Iranians for having shown up in such large numbers for the friendly match abroad.

We have been so isolated by the entire world, as result of our stupid regime, that our people have become strangers with hospitality and right treatment of foreigners, and perceive them (Especially the neighboring countries) as aliens or dreadful monsters who must be avoided and treated as inferior species.

For those of you residing abroad, taking advantage of all benefits provided by the respective countries of your residents, it's quite hypocritical to vent such racist sentiments by condemning such sports matches taking place in our country and our stadiums, especially given the countries which this request, suffer from Islamists terrorism and massive slaughter by these thugs in their countries. How about little compassion? what happened to humanity? Have we become that selfish and ruthless? has the IR's ignorance and viciousness rubbed off on us?

Did you also conveniently overlooked or missed 90's reports from inside Afghanistan, i which almost every Afghan with a TV passionately followed Iranian football and cheered for an IPL team just as passionate as an Iranian? Just a bunch of little Afghan kids abroad with some inferiority/racist agenda (Like may Iranians abroad) who wished a big Iran defeat against Sweden was sufficient to change your view on the Afghans and Afghanistan?
