I would be okay with Afghanistan playing their games in Mashad but send the Arabs back home and tell them to play in Saudi land

Does Iraqi team is going to play in this stadium? It looks like a jungle to me!

We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

Mindblowing decision considering what happened in the Asian Cup.

Absolutely horrible. Iraqis will never be a friend of Iranians. Yet we accommodate them at every turn.

They wanted to play in Azadi but we rejected it.

That's the training ground CQ tried to avoid, for the camps, so giving a 3rd tier training ground isn't that bad

Syrian FF has decided to play their WCQ home games in Iran after Lebanon only allowing them to play at 3pm instead of 7pm, as requested by Syrians.

They will make an official request to AFC and IRIFF.

great we get two homes games and 6 automatic points.

Cool. That increases our chances of qualifying for the WC.

Not only because of the 2x home matches against Syria (if that is even allowed), but also because Iranians can fill the stadium and cheer for Syria so they can maybe snatch some points from our other opponents (such as Qatar and Uzbekistan).

I strongly doubt AFC will give Iran such an advantage by letting Syria using Iran as home turf considering we have them including 4 other teams in the group as well who in all honestly would be in a disadvantage if Syria's request gets accepted.

Its always the weaker teams TM messes up against.

Probably not for the Iran match, but the other ones.

It won't be for Iran matches of course.
