Interestingly SK,China and Qatar have been negotiating with Syria trying to persuade them to be their host instead of Iran, giving them attractive offers, but Syria has decided to stick with Iran.

Iran will have 10% of the seats in match vs Syria in Tehran(away match)

So both the home and away match are going to be played in Tehran? That sounds too good to be true.

Syria's "home" match versus Iran would have to be at a neutral site. I don't think they can host that game in Iran.

The way I see it, most likely outcome will be we have to play them in Kuwait or Jordan.

I think it can be in Iran, but our fans can only have 10% of the stadium. Which is still good, put us on Azadi and we will still have a solid 8,000 which is better than playing in front of no one in Qatar.

Iraq have requested their home matches to be played in Tehran instead of Mashhad. AFC agreed.

So what has been the fans turnout for these teams matches in Iran? Do a lot of people attend their matches? I can imagine Iraq and Afghanistan matches with lots of attendance.

wtf, last time I checked their capital is Baghdad and not Tehran. They should play their "home" games at whatever venue IFF allows them. How the hell do they and AFC get to decide?

Macau? Well that certainly favours the Koreans. Why can't they have Syrias home games in Jordan and force Korea too travel further.

I am confused. I thought Syria plays its home games in Iran? Unless because both teams are in Iran's group and it may be clash of interest?
