Dejagah: I have no intention to return to Europe

I am sorry but Dejagah has done nothing worth mentioning so far.

To me he isn't less than a player like Ghafouri if you look at Ashkan's performances.

He has been pretty average for TM after his debut against Qatar. He had a good game against South Korea as well but that's it tbh.

He gets pefered by CQ most probably because he has the European pedigree of football.

This is so, so wrong. Are you forgetting his near-goal against Argentina? He's been our best player since he joined the team. An absolute bulldog. His technique is head and shoulders above anyone else on the team. It's very clear that he's cut from another cloth. Injuries have derailed him to an extent, but otherwise, he's our technically best player and he's an absolute menace to opposing defenses. Tough on defense too. He always makes the right pass and the right play.

If he had more support we'd see his true worth.

And please, enough with the bashing of players for going to Arab leagues. Very easy to sit behind your keyboard and bash these guys. Who can blame Ashkan for setting up the rest of his future instead of playing in cold, shitty England for a relegation-bound team like Fulham?

Or who can blame Gucci for leaving Charlton to make 10x as much money in an Arab league?

Really, the bashing of arab teams is ridiculous. They consistently kick IPL's ass. They have endless money to spend on trainers and facilities and top coaches. A better option than IPL by far. The level of competition is low but it's not as horrible as you people make it out to be.

Comes down to plain and simple Iranian racism against Arabs unfortunatley, which on these boards is 100% ok and commonplace.

I can say the same thing about Masoud when he gets bashed, remember when he hit the crossbar against Bosnia?

He is not even close to be our best player in the team. Statically, Ghoochannejhad has been the best player if you look at how many goals he scored in vital games. Dejagah in contrast is very inconsistent, he can have one good game followed by two pathetic performances like against Nigeria and Bosnia. He was not even visible during the Asian Cup and playing in Qatar took a huge hit on him.

I saw many wrong passes by him, he always looks too lazy to track back and we conceded two goals on the right flank during the Sweden game.

Ghoochannejhad is much more effective and a foward should be prolific.

I want JB to be our new winger, a hungry young talent who has ambition to make Iran proud by playing in Europe instead of Qatar.

And rofl at your opinion. Arab leagues better than IPL? Not this shit again...

So playing in Qatar > Fulham.

Anyone can feel free to disagree and say that Dejagah needs to feed his family.

^Kiarash is right here. Dejagah had 2 excellent games, his debut vs Qatar and WC Argentina and 1 good game vs South Korea. He was piss poor against Nigeria and Bosnia and was average in the rest of his games.
He has got the skills for sure, but his is very inconsistent. Actually it's his attitude which is fucking annoying. His pathetic body language after a failed pass or loss of the ball is making me angry.
You lost the ball, ok happens, get your lazy ass back and track down the opponent and get the fucking ball back.
Your team mate gave you a bad pass? Then team up in the training and teach him ffs or tell him loudly, instead of making a ghiafe as if a camel inserted your rear end.
His body language and fatigue is really annoying.

              Dejagah is out best player?!

dont get me wrong, I like ashkan's game a lot. he is tough, smart, and has an understanding of football and physique that puts most other iranians and asian footballers to shame as a whole. his european upbringing in football is crystal clear when he plays the game, i give him all of that. but he has been far from our best player in the last several years. guys like ando and nekounam who have come to TM's rescue time and time again in the WCQs and AC are our real heros/best players.

id even put gucci ahead of him...afterall he is the man who got us to the WC and holds a very solid goal per game ratio for TM. Dejagah hasnt been involved in anything crucial since joining TM aside from his FK against SK in tehran that led to nekounams goal. yes he has played well in some important games, but thats about as far is it goes.

^ that is completely unfair. He has been engine of our team since he joined. Yes we qualified without him due to his injuries but he is still our pushing force in the right side and without him our team lose a lot of steam. His wrong decision to join Qatari club should not tarnish his past credentials. I agree now he is doing stupid choice if he stays in Qatar, since he has been declining ever since he joined Al Arabi. I also agree he should be benched so he learn a lesson or two. No fitness, no ambition lead to bench warming and finally an Ansarifard destiny. (out of TM)

If Ashkan stays in Qatar and JB joins a better team (hopefully not Norwich) then JB will be our first choice in RW.

the engine of our team? i think youre confusing him with ando.....that has been his title since he started playing fix for TM since 2006. the engine is someone who is a pushing force for 90 minutes....dejagah is huffing and puffing after 60 and subbed out. you almost never see ando subbed out of a match, because HE is the engine.

^in no way he was our engine lol. He was involved in the few attacks we had in all our games. Ando is the one and only 6 cylandr engine lol.
Nobody tarnishes his past credentials. Those few credentials were honored.

^ I disagree with you. Ashkan was our main force before he joined Qatari lazy team.

Of course you may disagree bro but seriously are you sure you mean Ashkan and not Ando?
You remember Ando? The guy who gave the pass to Gucci to score the goal vs South Korea which made us qualify in the first place. The guy who kept playing with a broken arm.

Boys come on, people are saying that Dejagah only played two good games for Iran? DId you watch the Asian Cup:

Each game at the Asian Cup I really enjoyed Dejagah playing style.

He gave that Iraqi kid a runaround in the quarter finals, he got passed him many times.
He gave the assist against Qatar, he fought like a lion in that game.
Against UAE, every time he dribbled, he passed his marker.
He also played good against Bahrain.
                          He was good against Chile.

Sure, I 100% agree that he need to return to Europe, but he is obvious a great asset for Team melli!

How is it then, when we're not facing Qatar, they wanna get rid of our players? But as soon as we are grouped with them, they are buying our whole national team? THAT'S the problem I have with them!!! People tend not to see their ONLY objective in buying Iranian players, ffs they could get African and south American players, but as soon as we are to meet them on NT level, they get a fetish for Iranians!! THAT'S for ever the problem I have with them!!

Yes, but still the iranian player makes the choice.
