the key is time, CQ after 2015, manage to get the players he want and the style he wants to play, up to the world cup we had mafia players like rahmati or aghili who taught they owned tm, onces that disaper, players came in line and obey him very well and that bring sucess, i promise you CQ is the only coach in iran that players actually obey, hence this good results and even MK acknolwging

If TM qualifies his contract is automatically extended to end of World Cup 2018.

The thing is CQ already gets paid very well at 1.5 million a year. I remember looking at the Euro 2016 coaches salaries this past summer and saw CQ being paid more than 75% of the Euro coaches. CQ even gets paid more than the likes of Didier Deschamps or Fernando Santos. I would however give him a raise for what he has done for our football going forward. To stand in the face of IFF and fighting for Iranian people itself is a big accomplishment. Hopefully we keep CQ and the staff together up to 2022 WC, but we will see. I do look at the TM job as being attractive on a global scale once CQ leaves...
