There obviously is a shift in stand from Goozdarzi. Ironic his right hand man, Hosni had filled him in all the negotiations and IFF had followed him to the point including Hosni statement "if anyone's not behind CQ he can leave". The instructions must be coming from even further above. They want him out, he should now leave the country and sue IFF for constructive dismissal.

Got rid of Samuel and isn't really using the young players like he did at the beginning of the season. With all due respect to Forouzan, if he had kept Rahmati we wouldn't be in this position.

I wouldn't mind if he leaves SS at the end of the season. All he does is take the team to hashiye and fight with those idiots on navad. But 2 more weeks left in IPL. If we get a ACL spot and win the derby, then we shall see. if not then get the F out.

In regards to Afazeli. That guy is a joke and he has a terrible credential. He came out and said that CQ knew our situation so he if accepted it he shouldn't complain. That is the most unprofessional thing that I've heard anyone say. What some of you critics don't understand is that if CQ leaves things are not gonna get any better. A lot of you think he's fighting and has these meetings because of his salary etc... but all he's trying to do is make IFF to make some serious changes and improve the current condition. Trust me if CQ doesn't no one will.

This is from iSport and it gives you a good idea of why the players are solidly behind CQ and why certain losers are so threatened by him. To summarize, it talks about the headcoach of Saba claiming Navad's recent short clips of tactical analysis are "damaging" to IPL teams because he thinks it gives away their tactics to the opposing coach! It says this highlights the disastrous lack of tactical planning by Iranian coaches when teams at this level should have ten times more analysis of their own than what Navad shows in those clips.

That's because he's tactically so poor that he doesn't have a plan B if his tactics are revealed. Does he think that the other teams don't analyze their opponents before the game like 90 does?

I don't understand how this guy keeps getting hired with different teams when literally he has done absolutely nothing. He was a terrible player in his time and a terrible coach as well.

Are people still "arguing" with clipsport? The guy has been told 100 times by 100 different people how wrong he is, but he still knows he is right. There is not much you guys are doing other than wasting your own breath.

I have personally chosen to ignore him and no longer directly argue with him. He's trying to start problems and arguments with people, and then backpedals and points fingers at others for "ganging up" on him.

He just craves attention, so I say if you ignore him, he will just disappear overtime.

That was probably when SS was still among the title contenders. No point in bashing someone who might get your team a championship - that would be silly. But now that the IPL title is gone, we can criticize. And I always support TM no matter who the coach is. Besides comparing GN to CQ in terms if SS and TM is very very very different. GN has brought SS 5 championships as a coach + more as a player including ACL I think (I don't remember those though - but I still appreciate it). CQ hasn't brought any success to TM. Besides a lucky last second qualification to the WC there hasn't been much else. Just a lot of talk, hashiye, fighting, disrespecting, and mediocre results + boring ass tactics.

And the Hooman Afazeli example was to point out that coaches are afraid of criticizing CQ b/c of the way they will get bashed by certain popular media. Khodadad Azizi talked about that today in that show on Channel 2. The link is on the TM-News thread.

I just listened to what Azizi said on Shabake 2 and it amazes me how clueless some of our coaches are.

He complains that why CQ is not attending all the games to analyze the players. That's why he has hired intelligent people to analyze the games and players for him. How do you think Ramin Rezaian, Pouraliganji, Vahid Amiri, Vouria were discovered? Did CQ attended any of their games to analyze their games? No his assistants and analyzers either attended the games or watched the video of their games and hand picked them.

Let me give you another example. Do you think a CEO of a successful company does everything himself? No he hires people who are sometimes even smarter than him and assigns them with different tasks to achieve the companies goals and help the company grow even further. The CEO doesn't do the market research or find leads anymore. He has other people do it for him just like CQ has other people who are capable of taking care of those tasks.

And I'll add that if SS doesn't get an ACL stop this year, he's gonna be walking on thin ice. Some of the performances this year have been totally unacceptable. But 4 games left and there is still time to make up. So in the meantime we'll show support and hope for the best.

Why can't we do the same for TM and CQ? why can't we show support and hope for the best for TM.

Instead of comparing GN with CQ, how about we compare Iran with Australia, Japan and South Korea combined and take a look at their preparation and world cup results. They had endless amount of friendlies, european legionnaires, excellent infrastructure and camp. Things we don’t even have and we still managed to get better results than them in the world cup. We even played better than them.

Japan like Iran didn’t qualify to the semi finals with all of their european based players. Even though Iran lost to Iraq but they played incredibly with an amazing fighting spirit that CQ created in our team. We managed to get back to the game twice with 1 man down.
