true, Ashkan is a Rare Pitbull MF enforcer combined with silky smooth, highly technical and clever moves ..!
He may only be good for a 50-60 minutes, but he really puts in a shift in that limited time-frame...!! frequently leaving the pitch with overall more workrate than half the rest of our squad that played the full 90 in the same game..!!

all that aside, he needs to feature in both or at least one of our next 2 friendlies, so we can better assess his fitness ..?
i dont want us to again waste a valuable spot on our traveling squad taking along a useless/injured player, just for some bs goodwill gesture a la 2014wc

Midfield is pretty toothless with out Dejagah. He really brings something that a lot of players lack. Hopefully Ghoddos and Dejagah can feature together. I dont want to choose one or the other

I can't take anything away from his playing skills. Always got a hard on when he had the ball, dribbling, making fools of opponents. However, this guy is a fucking basket case. For all you Karimi8 fan-boys out there; remember, this is the same - one flew over the cookoo's nest - and slapped a ref bc of a bad call and was banned from playing football for almost 2 years. This is the same guy that was too lazy to learn a foreign language to secure a transfer. It's the fan-boys that are giving this guy the power to say and do the things that he is doing.
The problem is that he doesnt know what to do with himself out of the lime light. He is taking retirement very poorly. Can contribute to TM. Can't coach. Go do something positive. He lives up to the moniker the "Iranian Maradona." He acts like Maradona too.
