I don't know. He has not been invited since Peyrovani took over. He was one of stars of U16.

That goal does NOT look offside at all and it looks like we hit the post once too. Overall, a good experience for the boys, but I really don't like Peyrovani's defeatist tone.

there was nothing defeatist about his tone, nor his sensible approach to this game ..!
i suppose you'd prefer the typical delusional irani coach comments of "oh ma shaaans nadashtim be khoda, davaram bar aleyhe ma bood, bacheha oon chizaye ke beheshoon gofte boodam nakardan blah.... blah...blah its everything and everyone's fault but mine, ma chizi az in italiaiha kam nadaarim more blah blah blah k0sosher ...!!???

there is nothing wrong with understanding that you are playing a superior opponent and the need for a sensible game approach in order to maximize your team's chances of attaining a respectable final result which would in turn help build their confidence which was the primary reason for this friendly..! had he opted for a more attacking and open game, chances were that they woulda been handed another @ least 4 goal thrashing and forced to leave with their heads down and tails between their legs..!!

he just needs to improve his vision a bit more and get rid of the ball much faster and spread the ball with more accuracy..!!

overall, he look a very promising youngster..!!
Brilliantly taken PK as well against the Italians..!!

                          ps
our keeper looked horrendous in that bit of highlight reels..!!

You suppose wrong bro! I prefer a coach that says we played a great game and showed that we can rough it out with the best teams in the world. We will take the experience from this game and come out even stronger next time.

That's called a winning mentality, to focus on the positives from the game and take it to the next level for the next game. Ft has nothing to do with being delusional or blaming bad luck or the ref, or being Iranian.

The implications of that statement are really what define a defeatist tone - the fact that you have already accepted defeat and your only goal is to minimize the damage. Rarely in the world of sports do you see a person or team with that mentality succeed.

It's one thing to respect your opponent but go out there to beat them no matter how strong they are and it's another thing to accept that you will not beat them before you enter the field/arena/ring/etc. and aim to minimize the damage. The latter does very little to build confidence because you will play your next tough opponent with the same attitude.

He's got some fantastic balance and positioning!
Foulad's academy should take over TM development.

Again, i suppose its a matter of interpretation..?? BUT THERE WAS NOTHING DEFEATIST about our Coach's after game comments..!! He essentially (in a refreshingly Honest tone) states what was his chosen adapted game tactic for this game (which i may add was in fact was very in touch with reality of the facts on the ground and about the only statistically-sensible approach to getting an overall Favorable Result (a Tie or a narrow Win with a bit of luck or a narrow loss with lack there of)..!! it was pretty much the same overall tactics that CQ had opted for vs Argentina @ WC..!!

Im fairly sure the last two times we got 4 goals stuffed up our butts by the same team, the coach gave the boys the same foolish advice your prescribing here..!!?
