We the people appreciate them, but they the govt are totally against him and want him out! so much for ISLAMIC REPUBLIC! a regime built on lies, lies, lies and more Lies!
Quite frankly, this is the most ridiculously timed to bring up a silly thread possible.
You'd think CQ has won the bloody Asia cup or something that we suddenly rush to bring up a thread to highlight Omid's loss ar quarterfinals.
In case you forgot, CQ also was at best capable of the same quarterfinals and NO MORE!
Grow up, people
this is Minsters failure, if the minister was in line with kafashian (who has no power or say) then CQ and MK & Co would have been able to work with each other to resolve some of the hate and get the team ready. it is said but the truth of the matter is that I knew from month ago that this team would not cut it for success, with the help of minister U-23 was given so many camps and friendlies just to slap it in the face of CQ and his fans, but Karma is bitch!! according to some reports they had spend the most amount of money on this U-23 than ever before, this team was loaded!!!
with the forehead shit "kashani" and his pasdar gang they fail short again. If they had fixed the problems with CQ many be addition of Azmon, jahanbakhash would have help this team.

clearly the circumstances were different. Playing with 10 men for 75 minutes while taking the game to penalties is not the same as losing to a team 3-0 in extra time.

Here is the difference.
The QF loss to Iraq was due to a wrongful ejection. While playing 90+ minutes a man down, we still managed to score 3 goals while playing "defensively", we didn't completely die in extra time due to lack of fitness, and we lost on penalties.
On the other hand, the "all out attack" that we supposedly are so phenomenal at produced 0 goals for us today, showed how poor our finishing truly is, our players displayed their lack of fitness, and we still conceded 3 goals anyway.
I have nothing against Khakpour, I think Mayeli Kohan genuinely needs help, but this is for those who sit on their chair halfway across the world and act is if they know what system is best for TM and our national team head coach doesn't know our football.

Pooladi knew he had a yellow card already, he shouldn't have tried to perform an Oscar worthy performance to get a PK. Was his first foul worthy of a yellow, I don't think so, but his second yellow shouldn't have happened if he had simply gotten up and stopped his grassrolling.
Also the other differences are we ought to consider the age group of players and expect accordingly. Which means we have the right to expect far more from established, well supported and experienced squad than a team of youngsters at the beginning of their careers and who have not played outside Iran's semi-pro league.
We also have full right to expect far more from a coach that carries the ''famous international'' tag compared to a vatani one. Certainly beyond the quarterfinals of an Asian tourney. You can't have all the privileges of the tag, but none of the responsibilities & expectations.
We also have to consider the same inexperienced squad and inexperienced coach did deliver in their attacking game. It's just a combination of bad luck in both final touches by the lone striker, as well as ABSENCE OF 3-4 KEY DECISIVE PLAYERS like Azmoun, JB, Ezattolahi, ... that would have made the difference between a losing and a winning team.
