That's what is says on the Yaadegare Emam stadium page on Wiki, although in the WCQ page it says it will be in Azadi.

TBH, I think it would be nice to move the earlier round, easy games to different cities so everyone can cheer for TM without having to travel to Tehran. I think Ahvazis earned the right winning the IPL last year and if Tractor does it this time, it would make a lot of sense. Not to mention our good Esfehooni hamvatans.

I know there's some anti sentiments that go both ways, but this would be one of those things that would help alleviate that.

As expected SS was the superior team in the 1st half. PesPes barely managing a pathetic excuse for a shot on target. Not to mention SS was denied a stone wall penalty by the ref. Roughly 45k spectators. Good spirited although one sided game so far.

Not a bad 1st half.

PP definitely started more brightly with good movement both on and off the ball for the 1st 10-15 minutes. Then EsEs had a good 10-15 minute period. After that the energy levels dropped on both sides and it was a pretty even unexciting last 15 minutes.

I do think there was a case for a penalty against PP, but the contact was minimal and in such an important game with the teams tied at 0-0-, I personally wouldn't have called it.
