I'm surprised to see so many players from Malavan. Kanani is an interesting talent and a good quick defender but aside from Mahini I'm not sure about the rest. I think CQ's team does statistical research so they must know something else. It's kind of strange not to see Daniel Esmaelifar on the list since he was their standout player from 2nd half of season and for his age. Physically, he is exactly the type of player CQ likes. Tall, hustles a lot, defends attacks. What's really promising is that CQ is clearly more interested in what the league has to offer. I think he was surprised by what a good player Vahid Amiri turned out to be and clearly wants to find more hidden gems.

Also look out for Mohammad Nejadmehdi. The guy has way above average technical skills for his RB position.

Good to see many people get a chance to prove themselves. CQ isnt stupid he knows Heydari will be 35 next world cup, but he probably has him as a safe option until he sees who else fits in at RB. You can tell hes desperately trying to find a new CM/CAM. I think with few exceptions players over 30 will be slowly phased out of the team.

I agree with Heydari and Makani. They should be left out. However Beikzadeh and Forouzan are quality players.

Khalatbari, Mohammad Nouri deserve to be in squad, don't know why they keep getting overlooked!

Rahmati, Aghili, Jabbari, Team Melli door has been shut on them and no way back.

Other players like Kaabi, Omid Nazari, Pejman Nouri, Dehnavi and many others were dropped from Team Melli long time ago. But it looks like Davari, Beitashour, Mohammad Nouri, Khalatbari, Sadeghian, Reza Haghighi are new ones to keep on not getting a nod!

Pooladi is on and off in Team Melli.

Glad to see Rafiei and Salimi in there.... Surprised not to see Daniel D., Danial EF and Steven in there. But overall a pretty good inclusive list with a nice mixture of old and new, the young and the experienced.

well there is two list, cause from list and list 2 he will choose the main team, list one is from ipl players, while the frieldlies and the game will include the list 2 players also, good to see saeid in the list, he can replace javad and be beside ando, he is young and play in europe ,cq can groom him well

Mahini hasn't played all season and Ansarifard is in terrible form. Spanish second division also goes until June 7th so he probably wouldn't even be ready for the uzbek friendly.,

They Are Sarbaz that refused to show up.
Latest news is they can go now and register for Sarbazi then serve 4 months before eligible to military teams ( for next season)
If they do that they can join TM.

I will always love how people on these forums will fight tooth and nail to prevent the likes of Beitashour, Davari, and Hasegawa from getting invited, but seem to slink away to the shadows when Ansarifard, Heydari, Mahini, Haddadifar, and others are invited. Where are you guys to complain? Are these players top-notch TM quality? Anyone want to tell me why the former players are so much lower than the latter players I listed?

I've figured out that there's a "what have you done for me recently" attitude in Iran. People hate outsiders coming into TM, and fight tooth and nail to prevent it. When Dejagah came against a lot of people's wishes, and scored 2 goals on Qatar, suddenly he was okay for everyone. When Gucci came and became our 2014 WC savior, people did the same thing. In my opinion, Davari has done nothing worse than Sosha Makani, yet Makani is invited and Davari isn't.

People don't want to admit their own fault, but this xenophobic attitude in Iran will harm us all in the long run. I think if people would have embraced Davari, Beita and others and welcomed them instead of grabbing their pitchforks, Haghighi would have had some competition and we would have beaten Iraq in the AC 2015. There was no imminent threat to Haghighi in 2015 for his position as #1 GK. There was a threat to that position in 2014 in Brazil. Davari was good for the team, even if he didn't play. People who don't see this are blind.

Don't get why Beitashour isn't called up. This guy plays fix in a modern and developing league. His team is currently second in their conference. Heydari tarikhest gozashte, players shouldn't just get called up because they play for perspolis og esteghlal but for their skills and form. Forouzan and Makani haven't deserved an invite in my eyes.

Beitashours is injured, probably why he wasn't included. He has missed the last three weeks of MLS and it is uncertain when he will return at this point.

So you're saying Haghighi wasn't motivated enough? That's why we lost?
