On another note; does he have a coaching license?

Guys I'm sorry to break it to you but Germany is not Iran where they would hand over their A team to someone who just retired. They actually have a system over there. In Iran unfortunately everyone wants to become a head coach as soon as they retire and they would not accept a job unless it's Team Melli, PP or SS.

Its a very good start, cause during this tenor he can (and he will) do his Bundesliga B license, and then on A, and afterwards the "DFB Pro-License / Fussballehrer" (which is the highest coaching and instructing license offered by german Federation).
Without this C youth team tenor, Kia could never do a B license, since the DFB requires work experience at C youth level or lower senior league levels before they can get a B license, afterwards he can move up to being a co-assistant at a B team for example, or headcoach at a lower league club to get the A license.
Exactly what Hashemian was doing for years till he got a 6 months interim at Bayern A team under Pep Guardiola to set him on his way to hopefully get his DFB Pro License.
Its a long process to get a coaching license in countries like Germany, Italy, Netherlands etc...., hence also the difference of quality between Western European Coachings and Asian coaches...lol

In Germany, if the head of the team does not have a coaching license, he will never be called coach and MUST have a right hand with the highest DFB license, otherwise he will not be allowed to lead the team!
But non-German speaking media and some non-German journalists, who didnt know the difference, just called Beckenbauer the Nationalcoach. However, in Germany, they always called him "Teamchef" for the reasons explained above.
They made Beckenbauer "Teamchef" for being the most decorated German player of all time, who actually understood a lot more about tactics than some of the qualified German coaches of that time. Very exceptional.
and unlikely for Mr. Mahdavikia to have this priviledge.CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php
