You guys joking?! Vierra, Zidane, they all started on youth teams and still are in youth teams.

I bet you Mahdavikia is actually gonna use this opportunity to improve and run Kia FC.

Guys just to have a comparison for you folks: I came across Werner Lorant yesterday in a TV show...for those who are not familiar with Bundesliga history...he is one of the biggest german coaches and a true legend in Munich 1860. He is (or was) coaching Tennis Borussia Berlin for the last few years now. Thats a club playing in Berlin Liga even not regional liga, so its a 6th division team.....btw they have a persian guy playing there too Kian Niroomand :-)

so lets be happy that mehdi can at least be in Hamburg and enjoy some professional air again....no matter in which position....even if he would become the gardener of HSV this would be a huge plus for us...look at our pitches wouldnt be that bad of an idea neither )))

        Kian Niroomand for TM.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Amoo, Team-Chef is still more glamorous position than Team-Gardner /c-Youth team Co-Assistant

So I agree with with KC, this is clearly German preferential treatment of their own ..! they still think they have more Aarian blood running through their vains than us & they really think they have more blond, bluer eyes than us the OG aaaraanians ..!

            OSN
I think Kia's only taking this position to help him in his Kia project in Iran. ..!? I really don't think he has pro coaching aspirations. ..!?
Good on Brow, either way ..!damesh garm.

You guys think c youth is the 3rd u18 team? Wrong.
              C youth is U 15 first team

Has anyone considered what Kia is planning to do? He has said several times that he is interested in youth soccer. May be he is trying to learn the youth development so he can bring that back to his academy.
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary

Or maybe, he decided that he wants to work with the HSV youth team so that he can bring talented Iranian youth who truly deserve it to Europe.

I know this may sound ridiculous for most of you, the HSV Youth C team.

But everybody knows that Mahdavikia is considered a footballing legend in Hamburg. Thousands and thousands of Germans chant "Mehdi!! Mehdi!!" at the Imtech Arena. They love him over there.

The guy is a devoted HSV member. He's a part of their family. So I'm sure whatever reason it was to give Mehdi this job, it's not because they don't respect him.

Because I know and I've see how much the people of Hamburg love and respect him. It's the same way people in Nijmegen love and respect Jahanbakhsh.

I'm sorry bro, I love Jahanbakhsh and truly respect him, and I'm sure that the Nijmegen fans respect him, but how can you even compare the two!?
Alireza is most likely leaving NEC after 2 season, Mahdavikia is a Hamburg legend who played there for 8 seasons!!

I didn't compare their caliber. I compared the love for the players from the fans.

Exactly what I was comparing, not their quality, but how fans probably view them.

I wasn't trying to compare them. I was making a point, from a different angle. Maybe it was a bad example.

Kia is not a child and certainly doesn't need this position. He knows what he is doing.
