What is his position (for TM)? I remember him as a right back at U17 successful WC. Now he is left wing (but right footed) I think.

He hasn't been capped for TM yet, but if he keeps working hard as he has been, he would be a very good replacement for Ashkan.

He's a very versatile player - comfortable both on the left and right with penetrating runs and even confident in making plays in the middle.

He switched from Left to right and vice versa quite a few times in the Al-Hilal game which is part of the reason they had such a hard time marking/controlling him.

He is quality, but His left foot is extremely weak.

he sorta reminds me GRRezaie ...!! got a good motor on him, may be not as fast but tremendous amount of workrate and hustle play down wings..!!

just like GRR, he also puts his head Down and often tries to force his way through too much for my liking (nasty, typical iranian player habit)..!

i think he has good potential but he needs to go play a season or 2 under Mansurian or Golmo? to add more Smarts and heads-up approach to his skill-set then there is good hope for him after all..!! doubt he will though and he will become yet another Aliasghari, GRR, wasted talent, good only for Irani and arab leagues..??

The only way a player like Alishah won't become another wasted talent, is to force himself out of Iran and into a decent European club.

Getting trained and coached by Carlos and his staff will hopefully turn a lightbulb on in these players heads.

For one, at least one lightbulb should already be on. The fact that they've been invited to Team Melli camp. They will learn a lot just by being in camp.

I feel sorry for a player like Sadeghian who is so... I don't even know what word to use without being disrespectful. It's just sad to see someone who is working hard, who is talented, who has a personal trainer, and yet he has a shitty attitude.

I'd add to what I say, not turning into his buddy Payam will also help him improve and progress as a footballer.

Maybe PERSPOLIS win the ACL, vs Barcelona at Club World Cup and Alishah impresses them. Then they offer him a contract which will effectively see him replace Xavi.

              Then, I woke up.
