No body said anything about UAE being "better" than Iran.
Those words were never mentioned in my initial post. Please stop being reactionary, Knee-jerk reader. Read what I said and then at least attempt to come up with a worthy-to-read comment.

I said, teams such as UAE and Australia and Japan are much better prepared than Iran.

Dont forget that up until a week before the Asian Championships in Australia iran didnt have the money to pay for its PLANE TICKET out of UAE to Melbourn.
Dont forget that we didnt have money for our teams practice jerseys.
We didnt have money for even a 3rd rated friendly game.
Time and time again training camps got cancelled due to lack of funds.

These are the truth about our football.
Now you can sit here and say all you want about how 12 years ago we had 6-7 players in Europe. The truth as it stands "RIGHT NOW" is this...

Bunch of players in Arab leagues
A couple of players in second division Spanish and Holland teams.
one player in Madrid second team.
    One player in Russia....

This is the truth about our football and our infrastructure.....
And yet, A bunch of LOMPANS in Iran (Gale Golie, Derakhsahn, Zolfaghar Nasab, Mayeli Kohan) and a LOMPAN sports talk man out of Los Angeles expected a championship from TM in Australia.

This has nothing to do with a fee.
This is a filthy tactic by the Saudis and is against the rules.
The host MUST provide a field for practice for free!
Stupid AFC letting the Saudis get away with this shit.

Yeah, but would you pay again and again? I doubt this is. Aone time thing. Remember a few years ago Bagheri or someone had to pay the bus driver in Fouladnout of their own pocket for damages before he would take them anywhere?

Seeing our biggest club exercise in the hallways of a hotel cannot be equated with a fan opening up a thread you don't like or making a statement you disagree with.

But, I guess to some these are the important things, not the embarrassing state of our football.

Just go over some of the comments made under this thread and look at the level of maturity ( or lack there of) that CQ has to deal with Iran.
Counties such as Japan Korea, UAE are developing their football and building up their youth clubs and we are still talking about how we had SEVERAL players in Europe many years ago.

It has nothing to do with what I like or dislike, it's just a silly rant and rave that repeats itself every few days and regardless of the topic, it somehow relates to CQ and a whole bunch of other people who have absolutely nothing to do with the situation at hand. Not to mention that this issues was already being discussed in another thread.

But, I guess to some hearing constant rant and raves that they agree with is more important that not turning the state of the forum into what's even more embarrassing than the state of our football!

Then you must have missed the whole discussion on CQ making demands for better training facilities.

The OP is relating that to PP not having proper facitilities to train in before an important match and the CQ critics which were named claiming that they used to practice on dirt fields.

If you don't remember I can post the news stories here. Even in Peyrovani's first interview after being hired in TM he brought it up.

But, if people think focusing on a comment about the UAE is more important, what can you do....

I appreciate all that azeez, but what does any of that have to do with the Saudis trying to screw PP over, Nejadfallah taking off for haj instead of taking care of the team or Branko being too cheap to pay $400 so his players can use the hotel gym?!

Do you really expect CQ to take a football team with this type of infrastructure and perform magic and compete against teams such as UAE, Japan and Australia?
Only a bunch of LOMPANS such as Daryoush Zahab, Gale Noie, Derakhsan, Bijan Zed-e Football would have such a out of line and distorted ideas.
Are you freaking kidding me? This is beyond belief.

Not only that, this also relates back to retards like Asadi (who used to get praised by the clueless for his "performance analysis") and his "standards" which apparently CQ had failed to live up to. "Standards" which apparently include not fixing the training pitch for the national team despite months of repeated requests. "Standards" that don't seem to be violated when our ACL representative has to train in a hotel lobby or when our national team ends up in a rural motel in Austria with no air conditioning in July, or when we have to scramble to find kits for the players on THE DAY of a match.

But to some of us this stuff is too serious and a buzzkill. It's much more "patriotic" to just respond "UAE wat?lol" when you can't even understand the point being made.

And you gotta love the complaints about "rants and raves" from someone who did nothing but rant and rave for months about such in-depth issues as CQ's vacations and "park the bus lulz". How many times did we have to go through post after post of rants about the coach being a coward based on the distortion of an article where parts of a single sentence were willfully ignored to make it seem like CQ was afraid of playing Korea when in reality he was asking to play Australia? How many times did we have to scroll through five-page essays based on this distortion? But those apparently weren't rants and definitely weren't frequent

Let's not talk about the tragicomedy that is "management" under IR. Let's not talk about how that affects all aspects of a coach's plans and preparations and how it sabotages our progress compared to other Asian countries that treat their national representatives better than a 3rd division club. It's more fun to blame the Saudi airports, count the days in CQ's vacations and act like we were embarrassed by not making the second round of the world cup.

                                I just told you.

But if you think it's Branko's responsibility to pay for a training pitch, then I think we can leave the discussion at that.
