He's known as the "Architect" for his free-kicks.

Or as Javad Khiabani puts it "Mohandes Mobali"

If there's a place for Shojaei there should easily be a place for him after the season he's had. If Carlos wants to create a young team then there should be no place for either one of them

are you serious? Mobali had his chance in TM a few times. He was a talented that's all. He never developed. Only set pieces and some RPG shots here and then that's all about him
His physics is weak and he looses the ball too often.

He played 2004 for TM and was also in the squad in WC 2006 in germany.
          A BIG NO!

IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

rofl: something is slightley wrong. The asian fans seem to fancy more the picture with their sign instead of Mobali himself who looks like a schoolboy next to them

Only good at set pieces. Otherwise, he's too SLOW, can't play one touch football and looses ball too often. So my vote is NO.

                  A BIG NO!

He wasn't in the squad for WC 2006 in Germany, because he made a foul on "Napoleon" Ali Daei and his royal highness didn't like him anymore so he ordered his assistant Branko Ivankovic to exclude him from the squad. He was never given a fair chance he was mostly a sub in the last few minutes of the game during the Branko era. After that event Mobali lacked ambition to prove himself, so he went to Dubai and made himself some money.

Having said that Queiroz seems to favour more physical hard working players rather than technically gifted players like Khalatbari and Mobali but whom lack physical presence. Big mistake imo. Mobali will never get a chance, Iman is the most disadvantaged player in iranian history. One thing is for certain, if Mansourian was headcoach of TM, he would not only invite Mobali but let him start as a fixed player because he knows his quality.

He single-handedly made Foolad Khuzestan champions in Iran for the first time, and did the same with the lowly Al Shabab in UAE. And now he's shining again for Naft Tehran, good for him!

True, I remember Mobali being suddenly excluded after his tackle on Daei. He always remained a class player though, he was the heart of the team everywhere he played

                      Daei destroyed Mobali..
Tbh, I would've loved to see Mobali included in our Asian Cup squad but he wasn't. I think it's too late now..

Stream quality was sometimes poor yesterday, but I could still recognize Mobali easily as the yellow pixels holding the white pixels much too long. Kudos to his set pieces though.

if he was younger i woulda liked him in the mix (like all other players he has a mixed bag of strengths and weakness, but no one can deny his good Overall quality) but its just too late now..!!
he is just too lightweight and weak defensively, hence he doesnt really fit CQ's scheme..! besides CQ playing scheme is too detail oriented and meticulous, meaning it often takes some times for players to blend in and fine-tune their role in it, again Time he really doesnt have anymore..!
we coulda really use someone with his Set-piece delivery skills in current TM though..! especially since Javaad's retirement & the Fact that large majority of CQ TM's goals are scored from Set pieces..!!

it took CQ a while to notice and recognize his overall quality and extend him his first invite but by now he is fully aware of what he could bring to the TM..!
I'd simply Trust CQ would make the right decision in regards to this..!

If he gets further invites, Iman could do his case a lot favors by trying his best to adhere and Follow CQ's precise instructions in camps and adjust himself quickly to his preferred system of play. Also by displaying tremendous pride and joy in representing the Shirt, and making the right comments in media..!!! those are brownie points that work well with Carlos for anyone..!

                          ps
Bold could well be his golden ticket ..!

we dont need a old player, we need young and experience players, like saeid and beirnvand

He could have been a big super star, I partly blame Branko for his lack of development. he should of been fixed for TM during that time.
