Ashkan not being called up is def not for bad form. Remember he was our best player in the world cup and a couple bad games won't decide his faith for TM. But please Remember this is TURKMENISTAN we are dealing with and not Korea or another major team. So this allows CQ to give some younger players the experience for later down the line and allow for Ashkan to recover.

I truly believe that Dejagah is not with TM now for the same reason Jahanbakhsh is. Well almost the same reason. I think Jahanbakhsh is in Europe "nursing an injury" but also ready to meet with teams this next week to decide his future, since he is in demand.
Dejagah is probably "nursing an injury" but in order to find a team that wants him. I'm nearly 100% sure that Al Arabi doesn't want to continue with his hefty salary, since #1) He didn't do much to help them last year, and #2) We aren't playing Qatar in the next round of anything, so they don't need to screw up his form anymore.
Dejagah honestly might end up at Persepolis or Esteghlal next year, but I think him and his agent are scrambling around Europe right now to try to find him a team for next season.

Dejagah said he is happy in Qatar. He stated that in an interview if I am not mistaken

If you saw their reaction to the recent FIFA fiasco, they don't like to be accused of bad behavior. Apparently, if you accuse Qatar of dirty behavior, you're a racist against Arabs

We are lucky to not be facing them in the near future, as they may release their spell off our players.
