              Qatar ill host the 2022 world cup, remember they corrupt lots of people, if they don't get the World Cup they will reveal all the names of people who they have corupt and it will even a bigger scandal.

                      Platini is tied to several Qatari firms and his son directly works for a Qatari firm.
                      Platini would mean even more Qatar money.

                        At this point they can't even threaten to expose anyone that they bribed in exchange for protection. Their main protector already resigned.

                          While this is true but given the eftezahi ke shodeh next guy in charge will try to distance himself from Blatter's biggest mistake and most obvious bribe.
