easy there ..... the game is in Turkmenistan ..... they are the host and have home field advantage. They will have a sellout crowd at their stadium. Playing against Iran is as if Iran is playing against Brazil. This is a big deal for them.

I agree with the previous comment. Turkmenistan will be no walk-over and we should not underestimate them in an away match. They are a tall physical team. We play well against smaller faster teams actually (Argentina, Chile, Korea, etc.) We have always struggled against taller more physically imposing teams.
I'm of course not saying that we will lose, I always believe in TM, but our win will be hard-fought. Possibly a 1-0 game, maybe a 2-0. They are playing for their World Cup hopes, at home. 5-0 or whatever people are predicting may happen in Tehran, but I feel they will play well at home. They are not cheating Arab teams like Qatar, so I won't enjoy beating them 5-0 anyway. They are an innocent team, and I hope that we beat them, but they play a good game for their fans.
They will not be playing shitty Arabic songs all day, so I won't feel any satisfaction from crushing them. I really hope Saudis can make it out of their group, unlike last time haha, and we play them away with our current crop, and soorakh their goal 8 times. Make them cry like Aussies did last time.
Turkmenistan though, I hope we beat them in a clean and friendly, but interesting game. 2-0 is good for me.

Turkmenistan is innocent? come on. they moved the game from eshgh abad to some random place on Uzbek border. Our players have to go there with a bus. Also, Dashguz stadium has a terrible field. They are already being dirty.Comment

I think it would be pretty tragic if we can't score more goals on them than Afghanistan did last year (3), especially considering they haven't had a single international game for a year.
