I was really annoyed at the first 25 minute of the game, we sat back and absorbed the Vietnamese pressure. But it worked out. Chamanian, while not any sort of tactical genius, seems like a real calm guy. Considering his background in literature (how did he become coach), he seems to be a very calm guy. He's done well so far.

But remember, we were one goal away from in the 90th minute (penalty) in facing Japan.

I really like Ghaderi, Sharifi, Shariati (he needs to stop long balls, but his tackles are very impressive) and Allahyar Sayyad (despite his appearance, has good football IQ).

Glad the boys are going to the U16 World Cup! Great experience for them.

I watched their last two games.. This team plays well. Besides some individual talents that everyone has talked about, I like the fact that they keep their form most of the time. They defend well and their transition to defense is good. They pass the ball well enough and on the ground. Coach Chamanian has done well with this team. There is also going to be coordination between this team and CQ as per Federation Policy. This will help them in their preparation for the WC.

Some payers like #4, 6, 8, 14, 21 and Goal Keeper are real talents. They maybe others as well that I did not notice.

Good days for our Football in the last few days and I hope our NT would add to this in their next two matched.

haha, yeah. If going by looks, he seems like a headless chicken - he pressures the defense way too much and needs to conserve his energy better. But hey man, he's been the real standout alongside Shariati, Sharifi and Ghaderi for Iran. Our right back is pretty good too! We have not seen Younes Delfi much, and he was suppose to be our prized striker. Allahyar just took over after his first sub appearance in the first game where he completely changed the dynamics of the game with his inclusion. We were down 2-0 to Saudi, he comes on, we win 3-2.

Azmoun and Jahanbakhsh missed the final round of Olympic qualifiers unlike the legionnaires of Japan and Korea. Our last IFF president Kafashian was really incompetent.

North Koreans most likely use many overage players. You can ask Asian folks they can guess better but I think they have at least 2 or 3 players who can pass as being over 20.

are more technical.
