Which means if Iran, Japan and Qatar end on 5 point They are the participating teams and the result against yemen will only count if the teams have the same GD in their internal games. Hard to explain but i hope you understand.

If Qatar,Japan and Iran all end on 5 points the game against Yemen will not count. ( If teams are equal on points 9.3.2.1. higher number of points obtained in the group Matches played among the Participating Teams in question).
This means all 3 teams will have 2 points and ( 9.3.2.2. superior goal difference from the group Matches played among the Participating Teams in question) which means:
If Qatar-Japan ends 2-2. 1. Qatar (3-3) 2. Japan ( 2-2) 3. Iran (1-1)
If Qatar-Japan ends 1-1. 1. Qatar( 2-2) 2. Iran and Japan both will have ( 1-1 ) and NOW the game vs Yemen will count. As Japan won 3-0 we have to better that scoreline.
If Qatar-Japan ends 0-0. 1. Qatar or Iran( both will have 1-1 and we have to beat Yemen by more than 1 goal to top the group). 3. Japan will be out.
This is 100% right i promise you. In Euro 2004 Italy was eliminated on this rule as Sweden and Denmark played out a 2-2 draw that took both to the quarterfinals. It wouldn't have mattered even if Italy would have scored 80 goals against Bulgaria.
You are correct. key point is " among the team concerned"
Looking at rules again:
AFC U-19 Championship Bahrain 2016: Regulations Page 20 / 52ii.
16. Technical Rules of the Competition .
a) In groups composed of several teams, three (3) points shall be awarded for a win,one (1) point for a draw and zero (0) point for a loss
b)The ranking in each group shall be determined as follows:
i. Greater number of points obtained in all group Matches;
If two or more Teams are equal on the basis of the above criterion,their places shall be determined, in the given order, as follows:
A) Greater number of points obtained in the Group Matches among the Teams concerned;
B) Greater goal difference resulting from the Group Matches among the Teams concerned (if more than two teams finish on equal points);
C) Greater number of goals scored in the Group Matches among the Teams concerned (if more than two teams finish equal on points);
D) If, after applying above criteria to several teams, two or more teams still have an equal ranking, the above criteria shall be reapplied, in the order given, to determine the ranking of these teams. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, below criteria shall apply
E) Greater goal difference in all the Group Matches;
F) Greater number of goals scored in all the Group Matches;
G) Kicks from the penalty mark (if only two Teams are involved and they are both on the field of play);
H) Fewer score calculated according to the number of yellow and red cards received in the Group Matches (please see Appendix 1);

In case of J1:1Q , even if we score 3 against Yemen like Japan did is not enough because of Yellow cards.
Best result is scoreless draw or no tie result.
bad scenarios:
All scenarios( in case Japan tie Qatar):
Japan 0_0 Qatar Iran 1_0 Yemen P GD GF Japan 5 0 0 Qatar 5 0 1 Iran 5 0 1
=============================================
Japan 0_0 Qatar Iran 2_0 Yemen P GD GF Japan 5 0 0 Qatar 5 0 1 Iran 5 0 1
=============================================
Japan 1_1 Qatar Iran 1_0 Yemen P GD GF Japan 5 0 1 Qatar 5 0 2 Iran 5 0 1
=============================================
Japan 1_1 Qatar Iran 2_0 Yemen P GD GF Japan 5 0 1 Qatar 5 0 2 Iran 5 0 1
=============================================
Japan 2_2 Qatarr Iran 1_0 Yemen P GD GF Japan 5 0 2 Qarar 5 0 3 Iran 5 0 1
=============================================
Japan 2_2 Qatar Iran 2_0 Yemen P GD GF Japan 5 0 2 Qatar 5 0 3 Iran 5 0 1
Yellow cards Scenario:
Unlikely but certainly a possibility.
Iran has more yellow cards (5-1).Unless Japan get few yellow from Qatar game.
Japan 1_1 Qatar Iran 3_0 Yemen P GD GF Japan 5 0 1 Qatar 5 0 2 Iran 5 0 1
In case of Japan 1:1 Qatar , Iran must defeat Qatar by 4

Really stupid of Iranians (coach) to calculate a draw vs japan and an easy win vs Yemen in order to advance. It was absolutely obvious that Iran yesterday was out for a draw and nothing else but a draw vs Japan.
Disgusting this lazy way of thinking.
However we are used of abnormal way of thinking of our people these days.

Japan has not concede a goal yet and Qatar unable to score more than one.
Japan MUST score to have a chance to advance as for them 0:0= going home.
Japan should defeat Qatar because they are a better team.
As for Peyrovani's comment , i doubt he was aware of Rules eve when he was interviewed by 90.Last edited by St_Mark; 10-18-2016, 04:59 AM.

The disturbing thing was this bloody attitude, not going for a fight but parking the bus like they would playing Barcelona.....against japanese player who were phisically not stronger than themselves...
Man yaki ke ehsas dashtam ke ghoror melli am jarihedar mishavad vaghti bazi ra tamasha mikardam
I stopped watching the game after 20 minutes.
As said Before, defensive playing does not match our national mentality.
Aghajan, this coach didnt let our players playing their natural game, shouting at them from the field side to not doing this and that....
Mizasht bazi khodeshoon ra mikardan, mikhordan japoniha.....bloody tic tack and tactic..............
