They want him for their A team. He has not play for Zobahan much. May be he should move to another team if it's possible.
Noorafkan is starter for Esteghlal and more likely will play against zobahan tomorrow. I don't understand why Golmo won't play him enough.

Azari got him to make money and was very hostile and very mean to him when he decided to be transferred.
When there was newsLeicester City F.C interested in him this is what Azari said( what kind of jerk will say that about his best young player?)

There is nothing wrong with that if it means he will join the main squad of Basel after this 4 months period and not the u21 team. Keep in mind that he didn't get so much playing time so far in PGPL! He should ask for a loan to another PGPL team though otherwise he will spend the 4 months on the bench

Last night he returned to Iran.
For signing him they will observe him for next 6 months playing for Zobahan.

          Not so positive decision.

The sad part is that they would have signed Shekari right away if he was from Japan, Australia or even China and Qatar

So he did not want to sign for Basel because they demanded him to spend few months in the U-21 team?

              Bad decision from Shekari.

I'm don't know if they proposed him to join the u21 team but they want him to play for Zob till mid season and if he performs well, he can join Basel's main team. Now it remains to be seen if Golmo plans to give him decent playing time or not... And we're not even sure if he will be released by Zob afterward

The U19 Asian cup is under way. I think he has a higher chance of showing his potential there than in Zob Ahan

That's a strange demand from Basel. Basically they are saying that they were not impressed by him during his trial?

Yeah it's kind of strange. Maybe Zob ask for too much money and Basel don't want to take risks for a player that is still an unproven talent (he mostly played vs youth teams and only 100 min in PGL)? it's just a guess

Im in favour of these young players signing European contracts and then being loaned back to IPL clubs to keep them match fit. Shekari will definitely get more playing time playing behind the aging Rajabzadeh in this upcoming season. The kid has a lot to prove still, but possess great attributes to land himself in Europe in the next couple years.

No, this was basically a vacation for Shekari and he thought "why not take my agents suggestion to hype up some media storm and say I am on trial with Basel". With Iranian players do not believe anything. I mean Shojaie to Spain was mentioned elsewhere...and then he goes to Qatar and we wonder why he was crazy enough to do such a thing? Cause there is no Spain offer, and there was no serious Basel offer here as well.

There are Swiss sources quoting Basel's manager. He has practiced with Basel's U21 team for one week.

I hate this stupid trials from European clubs with Iranian players. European clubs are always playing so hard to get when it comes down to recruiting Iranian players, screw them seriously. If one Iranian player is going on trial, 99% the transfer won't go through. He will either sign for them randomly or stay in PGL. Afshin, Mohammadi, Hazami and co. As if they always have to prove how good we are. Better that Shekari goes to a club who respects him and his talent. I mean a Qatari player who has spent his career in the freaking Belgian 2nd division gets signed for Villarreal's main team for god sake.

they just saying that he is still awful young to make their main team..!
obviously they see his potential, so it seems they offered him to either play for their academy team or he could go back to Zob to gain more playing experience o ye kam dige bepaze..!!?

hopefully if he has a good U19 Tourney, then there will be more serious EU based suitors (possibly some bigger clubs than Basel) would then be chasing an early contract with him..!
