REZA SHEKARI is best Offensive MF/Playmaker of his age in Iran.He has been with TM since age of 14 in every category as starter playmaker.




Despite his age 19 today he has been invited to U22 team , a well deserve invitation.
Although his invitation came about as a result of sarbazi and injury to few U22 starters , it will take nothing away from this recognition.
He play for Tehran Moghavemat but most likely in a few weeks will be picked up by an IPL team.

We wrote about him before HERE but he deserve better recognition , thread of his own and we will hear more in future about this talented young man.

i hope he makes the best from his omid invite and establishes himself in the Olympic team..!!
then EU exposure in the Olympic qualifying tournament next year could play a vital role in hopefully making an early EU move then RS8 would stand a chance of possibly becoming the next AK8..!!

I hope not. Our football needs to grow, instead of being reminded that our current players resemble our past players makes us feel that our national level has not improved. Its best to say that hopefully he'll be better than AK8.

You are correct. He play for U19 but he is younger
He is 18 months younger than Said Ezatollahi ( 18 years 8 months 6 days) and ten months younger than Reza Karamollah Chaab U19 Team Captain and U22 player.

Now lets see if he plays or just gets used as a reserve player. I'd prefer him to be sent off to Traktor Sazi or Malavan for conscription so he can play regularly and also get rid of his sarbazi if a good club comes knocking.

i guess that aint a bad move..!! both Esfehooni clubs, seem to have a decent (and somewhat Professional, @least by Iranian standards) Youth structure in place..!!? and dont often impede progress of our talented youngsters into EU teams with gondegoozi financial demands and scandalous dealings..!!?

If he is to be riding bench all season, malavan coulda been a decent alternative, so he could do away with his Conscription and be done with it by tender age of 20..!

that was a dumb move Rafie, then..!! whats the use of playing for military clubs if you dont take advantage of the conscription benefits of it..!!
like you said he is plenty young, i suppose HS graduation should be his first priority ..? not that it will do him any good in that country..!! wonder if they offer GED in iran..!!? considering where his talent and potential for future earning lies, ideally he would be better off, forgoing his HS graduation and focus more on setting his football career up for a better future success ...!!

at lease he will be working under one of the best coaches next season, in Golmohamadi..!! not so sure if Yahya is a big believer in youth and younger players..? probably not as much as mansurian..!!?

Reza Shekari scored third goal against Boluspor during last game. He has scored many international goals for TM U15-17 but this is his first for Zobahan senior team and that is just an start.

He is currently member of U19 & U23 but he and his coaches had to make a choice soon since he won't be able to compete in all games.
I think he should first help U19 , then if Khahpour need him play for U23.
With every game & opportunity he will prove why he is exceptional.
