Watched Iran-Portugal U-20 yesterday; Shekari is promising, but Iran was just not good. It seems when Iran plays a "big name" team, the inferiority complex kicks in- they played without any confidence and there was no strategy, no organization to the team.

watched all of his games. This kid is a future TM star. Excellent dribbling and technique, an excellent finisher, and very confident. Also, physically he dealt with the challenge of zambia very well. Also a smart player who knows when to release the ball, dribble, etc unlike many on his team. He will be in europe next season at rostov or somewhere else so I think that part is settled. If he can get decent minutes anywhere in europe he may even make WC squad ( like how CQ brought ARJ last time). This is our future number 10. Damesh garm !

At some point in the past he looked very selfish with the ball but it seems like he even fixed that nowadays. He is definitely one of the U20 players that will make it to senior TM and will have a long Euro career

Not quiet AK8 quality but could get there if he stays grounded with professionalism & hard work.
Seemingly already has made the EU move which is a good foundation for his future stardom.
I knew he was gonna be the stand out player for us @ u20 WC & he certainly didn't disappoint.

Our volleyball, futsal, beachsoccer use to play top teams so regularly, that's why they are top class now.

His dribbling is actually excellent and Saeid isn't even close, he's probably not exactly Masoud's level yet but he's almost there, it's that good. As an overall player he's already better than what Masoud was at his age tho.
You can watch most of his games, where he has so much control over the ball that any opposition player struggle to tackle him and keep up with him while he is far from a fast guy. He has excellent technical skills, even by world standard if you look at his plays literally every time he has the ball in the U20 WC games. He's really the definition of a flair player who is so difficult to read for other players.
I struggle to understand his choice of going to Russia where this style of play is almost nowhere to be found

I agree with most of the things you say. But I think you are under rating Saeid's dribbling ability. The guy can dribble, it's just that because of his position he is getting the ball out a lot sooner. Much better passer.
I think it was a mistake for him to sign with Rostov. Our offensive players need a better system than the ultra defensive Rostov to nurture their talents.
