Turkic tribes of Gok Turuk empire also attacked Iran from Caucasus region. Following Roman invasion of Persia, in 4 years 12 Sassanid kings and queens ruled and were overthrown by rival noble families and famine had ruined their economy. Sassanid treasures were looted by Romans and Persia was broke while these bandits attacked. The rest is just history... just to let you know our last great general Rustam Farokhzad was killed in that battle.

Arabs usually exaggerate about this battle and use is to curse or insult Iranians in general. Iraqi invasion of Iran was famous as Saddam Qadisiyyah.
I'm glad to see other fellow Iranians who are aware of our history and heritage. It is sad that so many have forgotten.

I can't understand how a 22 year old who just began to shine for Persepolis and got invited for Team Melli, opts to play in Kuwait!

Kuwait is not even a fully professional league and many footballers are part-timers.

This transfer is an absolute joke and it's all about money.

CQ should advise him not to transfer to an arab team. If he does it should be a ultimatum that he won't get called up for TM again

Lol, that's not even near "much'. European teams could easily pay that for him. Why not go to an east Asian league for that amount?!?! Ffs, this is PURE destruction.

Of course they could but it seems Taremi is not worth that much for them, but its still very good, from a financial standpoint.

This is Taremi, not Torabi. Torabi scored the goal today.

Dude, Torabi scored not Taremi. -.-
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

I don't understand why more players take the Japan or Korea league route. Their leagues are the best Asia has to offer instead of al gooz leagues
