They used to be an OK Bundesliga side until few years ago, I think they can qualify for promotion-play off next season if they end third or fourth.

Hajsafi's one of our best players. He's a perfect fit to play in Europe.

I would honestly rather have him stay and help improve our own league than go to another second div team.

what sort of logic is this? because its a second division team it means its not a good move? this second division team would put most asian teams to shame.

every player playing outside euorpe should set a goal for themselves to get into a respectable european league.....the 2. bundesliga may not be the most prestigious but it is certainly better than every league in our continent and is probably the second best 2nd division league in the world. many 2. bundesliga sides upset bundesliga teams in cup matches and promote in play offs vs bundesliga sides.

all in all, the gap between the mid table bundesliga and 2. bundesliga sides is not that big at all. that in itself makes it a very attractive move for any iranian. not to mention the hundreds of other perks it has over playing in iran.

"Gertjan Verbeek may well dip into the transfer market with the funds available, Ehsan Hajsafi has emerged as an early front-runner.

Out of contract this summer, the 25-year-old has bundles of experience at international level for Iran and has hinted at a move to Europe.

Hajsafi can also play at left-wing and in the holding midfield role, making him a valuable asset to the Dutchman's plans."

Ahh man if this move happens, it would be soo great for TM and him! He is a great player with a lot of potential but he wont be able to get better unless he moves to Europe and gets some real training..We need almost all of our players in TM to get out of Iran and experience some quality training and not worry about money and horrible IFF.

NEC Should snatch him for cheap, Since he is out of contract and Sepahan cant block the move with $tupid asking transfer fee and they are sure to loose ARJ and make plenty of money to pay him and then some..!!
a bit older but more experienced and little more defensive version of ARJ and his style of play totally suits the (carefree, attacking and up&down action of the Eredivisie ..!

lets hope this is the first of hopefully few more EU offers heading his way this summer..!! Ehsan somehow strikes me as the sort who would sacrifice a bit of money for a more quality EU football..!

Bundesliga 2 is certainly no worse than Jupiler league. it will be a good step forward.

Even though we need him I like to see him go to Europe. That would get Faraki to use the 20 year old Saeed Ghaedifar as LB.

Hajsafi has always been one of my favorite players ever since his teenage years for us, but I think its time for him to test new waters in Europe... Obviously, he will be welcomed back with open arms once he returns to Iran. He is this generation's version of Navidkia for Sepahan

He can benefit greatly from Europe. He is both experienced and very mature, despite his young age. One of the most versatile players in out national team, and a very hard worker. Go to Europe Ehsan We will be supporting you whichever team you go to!

Would be nice if we have some Iranians there to support him and talk to him from the first day, where ever he goes!
