Congratulations guys, khaste nabashid, kheyli zaghmat keshidin!

Unexcusable CQ and players for this shameful results. And for once, IFF is not to blame with giving them good friendlies before (Chile, Sweden, Uzbekistan, what do you need more to beat Turkmen???)!!!

Shame to CQ to introduce the youngs this late, wasting so many chance to introduce them, now we have to get results with either old out of forms and very inexperience young players. But the thing I hate the most is this fkkin trend in Iran to play players out of position!!! fix them at a post and please stop your stupid chemistry experiments!!!!!! Heydari in DM is mindblowing and is just a bomb that will explode on us later.

I wanted to watch the replay, I saw the first 6th minutes. I saw the 1st goal, Iran missing the second I don't know how, Turkmen very weak. I came to PFDC to find a better link but a dumb started a thread with "should we fire CQ after the turkmenistan draw". For once, thanks for the spoil.

Pep Guardiola moved Phillip Lahm to CDM and got called a genius and poor Queiroz moves the Great Khosro Heydari to CDM and gets criticised.

Alright, the same way some of you scream ''CQ shireh'' ''CQ our savior, our hero'' after the games we win, well here CQ has failed big time, as simple as that.

The approach to the game was completely catastrophic, I mostly blame the inappropriate tactics used for this loss. Continuous, hopeless long balls and crosses that always ended in failure, we didn't seem to know how to manage a game where we are favorite and should have dominated in every sector. Our players, despite their below average performance gave everything to get the winning goal but what they were applying was wrong in this case, even with that sort of performance we should have come out with a comfortable win. I cannot single out any terrible performance from individual players, but rather the wrong game-plan that was used.

We are so used to defensive dispositions and mindset that immediately when we play opponents like that, we struggle to keep the ball and impose ourselves on the field, how many camps do we need to fix that? Now despite this clown show of a match, I believe we should still top the group without any real issues, and hopefully this was a real wake up call for Carlos and the players.

The only positive that we can take here is that better give this kind of despicable showing in early stages than in the ones that matter, and the fact that TM usually replies well when in these sorts of situations.

A disappointing result but not the end of the world. We have some good young talent and Sardar is the forward we have needed since Daei and Hashemian. Japan being tied by Singapore at home today is a far more embarrassing result!

We should win Turkmenistan without any preparation, having said that I don't think our preparation was that great. We only had 1 friendly game which is not a lot for a team that wants to inject a lots of new players.

We played against Chile & Sweden with our Asian Cup players. Do you know how many new players were invited this time and how much our team has changed? So you can't count those friendlies as preparation of Turkmenistan. Also it looks like you haven't followed TM news lately, there was no Turkey camp and they had camps in Tehran.

It is not the end of the world definitely! BUT...

What it scares me are two main issues...

One is statistics and its mental pressure on the players and the coach: Iran a powerhouse in Asia that has wins against teams like Chile, Russia and even Brazil; has failed in its 5 encounters against Turkmenistan. Iran has never won against Turkmenistan and has conceded 5 gaols against 3, 3ties and 2 losses!. This will cause a negative psychological pressure on TM and its coaches. It is like any time Australia meets Kuwait, or when Italy meets Croatia or Slovakia.

Secondly, the way the qualifications are done this time worries me the most. With two factors being the most critical for our team. HEAD 2 HEAD rule for topping the group and with only 4 second best teams advancing to he next phase. Oman may cause a real problem for us and even shockingly put us out of luck. Would someone please let us know how the best 4 teams are applied here as one of the groups featuring Iraq has 4 teams!

Nevertheless, we all give Iran 99% of chance for qualifying to the next phase and probably a good 80% chance of topping the group. however we have seen in Asian Olympics, how a young Iran lost to Vietnam and could not qualify to the next round. Games from this point on has to be taken seriously and no team should be underestimated. Let's forget about breaking records. We got to go with the simple famous rule of winning our home matches and at least tying your away matches (with the exception of Guam and India; that we should at any given time and location come out as victors, certainly Oman will do that easily and comfortably, therefore we shall also win all 4 games against these weaker teams)

                            Some additional points:

Guam's train will be stopped. They are just enjoying their lucky run without seeing a real opponent so far with all respect to them. They should be praised for their performance so far with only 150K inhabitants.

Guam's win against Turkmenistan was an accident as the draw of TM against Turkmenistan was a semi- accidental event but not the strangest of all as we have never won against this team. hopefully we can break the deadlock in Tehran and add this team to the rest of Asia which we have dominated. The only country in Asia having a better head 2 head against us are Turkmenistan and Japan.

dejagah, Jahanbakhsh and Seid Jalal are a MUST from this point on. It is a fatal mistake to take this group as an easy one. We tend to have problems and mental setbacks against weaker team with young inexperienced players. If CQ wants to continue with the young players to have a strong experienced young team at phase 2, it is alright! we can take one or two ties. It has happened to Korea all the time when they are shifting to a new generation. They have losses against teams like Lebanon and Jordan or even draw against Guam. If that is the goal, then we need much more friendlies.... A draw against Turkmenistan is not a favourable result but considering a generation shift, it could me more disastrous than this. Worse than what happened, has happened before too. we could also send an old experienced team like China and thrash them, however with a long horizon plan, then we shall take some losses and damages before achieving our goals, however if that is the goal, again and again, we need better preparation.

One good thing Turkmenistan can do for us, is to repeat their great performance against Oman. If they beat Oman at home, our TM will have an easier route towards the top of the group.

                            Strangest of all,

Iran remains mid table situated at 3
                            japan remains at 4
                            Until September!

                            - IRAN - ONLY IRAN

                            IRAN OUT OF AFC NOW!

IRAN WILL ROCK IN ASIA AGAIN IF IRI IS OVERTHROWN... MUBARAK, BIN-ALI, NOW IT IS THE TURN FOR SEID ALI

That's what I said. CQ is wasting too much golden opportunities IFF gives him (for once) to introduce our new players. Not beating Turkmen with even the worst players from IPL and not being able to keep the ball properly is pathetic.
