PAG as LB lol? And also, what makes you think CQ would make the big change or 1 to 2 strikers? He has never looked to change his formation since being TM head coach.

PAG actually played part of a game at LB a few months ago against Sweden. He transitioned into that spot a few times while Beikzadeh played more centrally on a few occasions. So, not really lolable. He's capable of playing that position and I think he did well the last time he played there. They tested him there, and he did admirably, so yeah, he actually would be a great option at LB, since we are lacking there at the moment with Hajsafi often tracking too far forward. Uzbekistan was exploiting crosses to their right side player who was almost always open and gave a few dangerous throughballs. At least 3 in my memory.

Why can a player with similar body type to PAG, Sergio Ramos, capable of playing both CB and RB, but PAG can't?

PAG's skill set is much different than ramos this is a very bad comparison. ramos is much more technical and quicker. PAG has speed but I dont think he would handle quick/technical wingers as good as he could handle big strikers who he can put a body on and keep up with.

We have better fullbacks ATM than hajsafi (who isnt even a natural fullback) in rezaeian, ghafouri, ghanbari, montazeri (natural CB but CQ plays him on the flanks more than the center), and id even say beitashour when in form.

PAG's value is best utilized as CB because his physique is rare for an iranian....tall, strong, and fast. those are his clear cut first 3 things that stand out the most to me that separtes him from most iranian CBs as he nearly destroys all iranian CBs in those areas (perhaps maybe other than height). When we run into teams like SK, AUS, or JPN in a few years in WCQs he will be one of our most vital players in the center because of the above. Cant risk losing our best CB to a position change especially when we dont have many alternatives going forward.

Dasogoozoo! I don't like this game, playing for the next world cup while the preivous ended less than one year + playing a minnow while we had a good range of friendlies : Chile, Swiden, Uzbekistan + the asian cup that was exciting.

Even this part of the qualifiers will be exciting this time around with all the promising youngsters coming up. At this stage for 2014 we had to look forward to ansarifard, daghighi, norouzi, gholami, ghazi etc....

This is one of those games for CQ that he just can't win. If Iran plays great and scores alot of goal the critics would point out the level of the oppositions and dismiss their efforts and if they don't play well, there'd be hell to pay.
