I dont see the point of posting results from other games. If Japan played 0-0 against Singapore what does it have to do with us??? Does that make our performance better? This is typical iranian "to blame someone else" mentality.

This was done as reaction to some members randomly posting results if high margin wins today.

I generally agree, neither of these results make any difference. Yet, I don't think it's a coincidence that many of the better teams struggle against minnows after a long a exhausting season.

Positives to take away from this match:

-Stop underestimating our opponents and respect them, as Queiroz said
-A set back at an early stage is better than at a later stage so that we can learn from it
-A new younger generation will start to lead TM

No but these comparisons shows us that such things can happen! No one made his job in constant perfomance. U can just have a bad day dude.

they didnt insult him after one bad game!! the guys has skill and talent, does he not? he is just inconsistent! we have the masoud that plays against Chile and Sweden then we have the masoud that played today and against other arab teams. im not saying its okay to bash the poor guy when he doesnt have a good game. go and search all my posts , i dont think i have ever bashed him, i actually think i have defended him agianst some members that were bashing him . in my opinion bashing, and insulting TM players and TM is not the way to go! they had a bad game? thats fine, cheer them on and show them you are still behind them . why cant we do that?

One thing that needs to change is ando. I feel like with the new style we are trying to implement, he is just hindering our progress. He isn't very creative and tends to do the same thing over and over. I think he should be faded out little by little as well as the likes of masoud and heydari

I posted Japan Singapore result not to justify Iran's result but to show that this kinda thing happens all the time to any time even the best ones. No matter how good you are you're going to have a bad day wether it's in sports or just in real life.

The most important thing is the lesson we learn from this game and how we're going to react.

Turkmenistan deserved the Point. Their goal was very well created. Not only that they did great to fill up their stadium with its crappy pitch. Plus resting their 'best' player to go against us. All in all tactically a great game by turkmenistan. Our beloved team melli clearly missed the likes of hosseini, nekounam, jahanbakhsh & dejagah. Not only because of their supperior quality, but because of their leadership on the pitch. But its obvious that they have to gel up.

What we missed most today was not Dejagah's creativity, Jahanbakhsh's speed or Hosseini's defending, but Nekounam's leadership. He definitely made the right choice by retiring, but in a game like this, we really saw how much we missed our former captain in terms of his ability to keep the team focused and positive. Hopefully we can learn from this so that the team does not panic like this again when things are not going our way, because TM was not playing with any patience or composure and instead we just panicked and sent random crosses into the box.

Its just the first game of many! We all need to stop getting our knickers in a twist! yes, TM played Bad and yes we should have won but hey EVERY team has a bad day!! YEsterday lowly ranked baseball playing Venezuela beat mighty 3rd world ranked Colombia with all her stars in an official Copa America Match!! So do they fire they coach?? shoot the players?( maybe in colombia yes! ) but seriously, CQ is a tactician and I can assure you we will beat the crap out of all the teams in the next games! guys, our team is new and just getting started!
