This is one of those scores that one must let the dust settle down before commenting. We saw that against Uzbeks and we saw it today, with a number of changes in the team, it will take sime time for this team to find it's shape but I agree leadership is missing. I am still not convinced that Ando whom like most of you I too love to bits makes a good case for Captain, the man has a free spirit!

We will improve.

I honestly don't even think the players are to blame on this one most of them played pretty well the biggest blame goes on the horrible pitch which forced queiroz to make a bad plan and play the wrong tactics/formation.

seriously it was a bad result but it's a start and after watching all the other "powerhouses" struggling or at least nearly failing, I expected a tough match!

Conclusions:
a) A young TM needs time to prosper

b) the pitch was awful

c) never ever underestimate "dudul" teams like Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Maldives or what ever

d) pls stop talking about "trashing the opponents": those times are over! We should be satisfied with comfortable 1-0 or 2-0 victories instead of demanding 4-0, 5-0 results!

e) it's the start and there are so many matches to go or do you obviously believe that Guam, India or Oman will never ever lose points???

I'm sure everyone missed Dejagah, Jahanbakhsh, Hosseini.

Give me a break. If we need those guys to beat Asia's 35th team we are in trouble. ARJ has never been a regular for CQ. It would be like saying we really missed Bieranvand today...finally Turkmenistan had many of their Russian based players out of tge lineup as well. This was a combination of complacency, poor tactics (players and likely coach), overconfidence, a lot of Turkmenistan fight. We lost and no excuses for it exist.
