I think Misagh will get some interest or a trial from IPL teams after his two goals.

Perhaps some team like Malavan could pick him up, but I expected him to be a lot younger.

    He is 28 already.

There is clearly too much hype around this guy after the Bahrain goal. He would probably be at best a below average player in our league but can't see any team waste one foreign spot for him anyways.

A dude like Seyed Salehi would score 5 goals against Bahrain and 8 against Yemen but won't get 1/50th of the hype this player gets

I think that most of us are happy to see that (half)Iranians around the globe are doing well for their respective teams.

Add to the fact that Misagh identifies himself as an Iranian too with his message to Varzesh and so forth.

Sure, everyone is obviously happy for that. It's just that the hype is unusually big after two goals against Bahrain and Yemen. If I only read the comments I would've thought that we have discovered a hidden gem in the Bundesliga

I was satisfied when I saw Bahrain lost especially as an Iranian scored, otherwise to me it's just a fun fact, nothing more, I will probably forget who he is next week to be honest

why? wouldnt it be good to cap him, try him and see how he does? look at gucci, shit for club! played in kuwait and qatar but always scores for iran and plays his heart out. this dude could have been the same way. does it matter where he plays as long as he netts goals for Iran and helps us win?

So wait, you are comparing Gucci who grew up in the Dutch football system, played in Eredivisie, Belgian pro league, Championship with this guy who played in the freaken Philippines league all his life and you want to cap him to try him for the Iranian national team? This is Iran dadash, not Philippines/Afghanistan any other AFC Challenge Cup country, wow.

I cannot believe this is even being a discussion, you guys would have wanted to cap this dude just because he is half Persian half exotic country because he scored a goal against Yemen and Bahrain? Sometimes people here are really hard to understand, my head hurts now. I am just glad no one from forums will ever get to be part of TM's coaching staff

it doesnt matter where he started to play soccer and what country he plays his soccer in. im not saying to cap the guy and have him play fix in front of Azmoun, gucci and others. all im saying is if he wasnt capped, i would of loved to see this guys invited to one of those extended training camps where CQ test new players in, if he impresses then sure he doesnt get cut and gets invited to another. if he doesnt impress then cut him and say ur goodbyes! why dont you want to give players a try? my head hurts now.

Damn you are actually right, why don't I want a Philippine League player to be tried by the Iranian national team, this 28 year old dude is probably the next Karimi. My deepest apologies for hurting your head, I am just stupid.

If this dude was capped by Iran then probably thousands of other Iranians in less daghoon leagues would have been invited before him and we would have camps of 400 players with Afghan and Malaysian league Iranians every week.

I am just unable to comprehend some people here sometimes. Believe me, I don't know where to start with this, there are so many questions popping in my head to why sane people would think like that, and I cannot think of any reason except that people believe any Half-Iranian are just automatically some type of hidden gems. This is practically joke material.

noted. that could easily change if he was given a professional contract.

Just unbelievable The Philippines league is probably not even on par with the Azadegan daghoon League but wait, who cares where he plays his football in?

I think some people mistake TM for a Persian party place where you invite fancy Persians because they have cool names or exotic looks. Laughable
