Looks like Arminia Bielefeld fans are starting to turn on Davari after the 2:2 draw against Heidenheim last week and potential relegation:
"DSC-KEEPER DAVARI ALSO IN HEIDENHEIM WITH PROBLEMS
Does the DSC Arminia Bielefeld have a goalkeeping problem? Until the 23rd day, Wolfgang Hesl was clearly the number one, before he was pushed out by Daniel Davari. But also with the 29-year-old seem increasingly the nerves to flutter.
In the 2: 3 defeat against Stuttgart brought a mistake of Davari the opponent again into the play. "The Stuttgart goal is still a big problem for him, since Daniel is a very sensitive person", Jeff Saibene is quoted in the New Westphalian .
It is precisely this nervousness that the 29-year-old has also taken to Heidenheim (2: 2). Right at the beginning of the game there were some situations in which this was felt. That even Heidenheim's Kevin Müller had no good day, there is only a small consolation.
Cheftrainer Saibene now has to decide whether a new change on the position would have the desired effect or rather fosters further uncertainty within the team. She must finally be able to rely blindly on her keeper.
Both goalkeeper contracts are running out at the end of the season. A criterion for a possible extension is certainly also the league whereabouts."

"Hesl or Davari? Meaning and nonsense of a goal keeper at Arminia
nervousness in the relegation battle: After Daniel Davarí showed uncertainties in the last two matches of the DSC Arminia Bielefeld, the goalkeeper's defenses were re-ignited in the surroundings of the Alm. Jan-Hendrik Grotevent on the meaning and nonsense of a goalkeeper discussion.
Arminia Bielefeld and his goalkeepers: Wolfgang Hesl and Daniel Davari. Both came to the stakes. And currently, the role of the two keeper is discussed.
Hesl is certainly on the line and has strengths in "one against one". He was a part of one of the best series of defense in the Second League for a season. Many press comments saw him as one of the strongest goalkeepers of the playing class - until the start of the 2016/2017 season. He had weaknesses in the control of the penalty area and at standards. In addition, there were a few pats on the line. Hesl had been infected by the generally uncertain black-and-white blue defensive in the case of back-ups and in the opening of the players.
When Davarí took the place between the posts, he showed himself solidly on the line. He was safe in the passport and the rest. In addition, he was noticeable in the defensive group. There were slight wobbles at flanks. And then came the game against Stuttgart, with which Davarí with a missing pass the balance of the Swabia introduced. In the 2: 2 in Heidenheim he stayed in the 0-2 on the line. He could not compensate for the full defensive performance of the Blues in the Voith Arena.
What does a goalkeeper debate?
Arminia, on the other hand, has a goalkeeper who performs well in an overall secure defensive group, with a few uncertainties. On the other hand, the DSC has a goalkeeper, who plays properly in the context of a reliable defense, with a few wiggles. Which of the two is the one who finishes the season with a goalkeeper's goal? On which criteria is this to be determined? Just. Apart from the fact that it is too easy to set off only the errors of the two against each other and to hide the good performances - saved points. Such a consideration, however, would result in the same result. Perfection is not to be expected. Not from Hesl, not from Davarí.
For a long time the black-and-white-blue environment called for Davarí as number one. Now voices "Pro Hesl" are loud. Thought-proving experiment: If Hesl is now put up again and "pats" from a subjective point of view, Davarí is again called for. So much for the sense and nonsense of a goal keeper. It is idle to think about which goalkeeper has scored which points, because they do not come back one way or another.
Who is to save the points now?
Arminia Bielefeld has two decent goalkeepers. And Arminia Bielefeld is lucky to have two very talented junior players in the squad. These, too, are brought into the discussion in the black-and-white-blue environment, while at the same time - it is rightly pointed out - that "experiments" are too risky in the final phase of the relegation battle.
The class can be achieved with a stable team performance that includes and includes the goalkeepers. Wolfgang Hesl and Daniel Davarí are able to make their contribution. The restlessness in the surroundings of the alpine pasture is to the benefit of the unfortunately justified fear of the descent. When a goal keeper, as part of this restlessness, helps to make pressed East Westphalian hearts air, it makes sense. But also only then."

Arminia Bielefeld coach's press conference comments regarding Davari's recent slump:
"Daniel Davari, on the other hand, does not doubt: "Davari enjoys our confidence, we've got a lot of points under him," the coach said at the press conference . Therefore the topic should not be overestimated."

Former keeper Koch on Davari:
"On the other hand, it seems unlikely that the goalkeeper position will change again. Daniel Davari has been criticized for his mistakes in Stuttgart and against Heidenheim, but is still likely to enjoy the confidence of the team of coaches. Georg Koch, who was in the first and second league in the Bielefeld goal from 1997 to 2000, knows this problem from his own experience. "My advice to Davari is not to think too much. The self-doubt can not be spread out at all. ""

Davari was a a one season wonder.....he is a handball goalkeeper, not a football goal keeper in my view.
He had some spectacular games in Bundesliga, but after world cup he went down....
This matchday, and last matchday, he had very bad display. so much mistakes. sas to say this truth...he was fault at the goals..World Cup 2006, Frankfurt, Iran vs. Portugal, Iranian Frontpage of GOAL Sportspaper
sigpic
And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi -

After the last match results, it appears Hesl might be brought back as #1:
"The performance of goalkeeper Daniel Davari, who last had to take a hit three times in a row, had not been optimal in the last few weeks. It is therefore generally expected that in Bochum Wolfgang Hesl will again be in the gate, who had lost his place of the stadium eight days ago."

"DSC-Coach Saibene wants to make a decision about the number one after the training week
Who will be in Bochum at the gate of the DSC Arminia on Sunday? Jeff Saibene has not yet determined himself. "We will wait for the training sessions this week and then make a decision," says the coach.
Saibene knows that the goalkeeper's question is "a topic", and Daniel Davari has been criticized in the past three games, but his predecessor, Jürgen Kramny, had a change before Sibene took over responsibility in Bielefeld By Wolfgang Hesl to Davari, Hesl had not looked well at high balls, but by then strong reflexes in many one-on-one situations also thwarted quite a few big odds of the opponents.
The one who currently has the greatest security will be given the privilege, says Saibene. To this end, he will also get the opinion of goalkeeper Manfred Gloger, with whom he speaks regularly. To whom the team currently has the most confidence also play a role. "This is part of the whole process," says Saibene."

Their team replaced him with Hesl against Bochum. We're leading until the 80+ minute and conceded a late goal to tie. Sad that teams are so dumb and reactionary to replace Davari so quickly. what is the point? All it does is now bring both players' confidence down going into the last games of the season. Must win games. I see them relegating sadly. Bad coaching. Why they love this Hesl guy is beyond me. He is worse than Davari and his horrible results all season reflect that. Davari's results were better outside of that stupid loss to Stuttgart.
Sad he will probably be in the 3rd tier of Germany next year. If the coach would have given him a chance 3 months ago, he wouldn't have had the immense pressure to prevent his team's relegation. He could have slowly rebuilt his confidence. Asking him to save the team at the end of the season would cause many players anxiety to make mistakes.

Very unfortunate events for Davari to lose his spot. He was not even included in the matchday squad:
"The residue on place 16 is a counter, the rescue bank is three points away. DSC coach Jeff Saibene changed as expected to the goalkeeper position: Wolfgang Hesl (31) returned to the last three times in a row, hard-lined Daniel Davari (29) in the box.
Davari from the "shot line"
Davari was not even in the squad, for him junior Nikolai Rehnen (20) took the place. There were also Fabian Klos and David Ulm, who had begun in the previous week in the 1: 1 against Greuther Fürth. Reinhold Yabo and Keanu Staude played for this.
"Diva played unhappy lately. We were convinced that we had to change, "Saibene explained before the match at Sky to the goalkeeper exchange. Davari was not in the squad to take him out of the line. There was a lot of criticism. I think the distance does him good. ""
