Iran disabled football team refused UK visa to attend championship

He said that Iran protested to International Paralympics Committee in this concern.

Visa refusal to any individual accounts for violation of human rights and the International Humanitarian Law requires the governments to give visa for the applicants and provide reasons for the otherwise.

Consulates and visa sections of the member states of the United Nations are not allowed under the International Law to leave the visa requests unanswered.

We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

Don't mix sports and politics. The media is so great at spinning the news one way that I am sure most members don't even know about the London embassy siege.

I would bet money that this is somehow Iran's fault for not filling out the paperwork properly.

            This.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Iran visa row boosts England chances at Cerebral Palsy Football World Championships

England's hopes of Cerebral Palsy Football World Championships success have been boosted after the Iran squad failed to get visas.
The championships kick-off at St George's Park on Tuesday and England's performance could help Team GB's chances of Paralympic qualification.
Iran, ranked fifth in the world, were one of England's group-stage opponents.
Iranian officials say they submitted forms on time and have complained to the International Paralympic Committee.
The Football Association were informed of the situation last Monday and contacted the British Embassy to try and resolve the situation, but were unable to do so.
The tournament, which is part of the qualification process for Rio, will now have 15 teams.
England, ranked 10th, open their campaign against Japan, ranked 15th, on Tuesday (13:00 BST) but their match against Iran on Thursday will not take place.
European champions Ukraine are the third team in England's group and the two will meet on Saturday (17:00 BST).
Scotland, ranked eighth, and Northern Ireland, ranked 13th, are also competing at the tournament, but they do not qualify on behalf of Great Britain.
The final will be played on 28 June.

lol The same way you just spun that comment around. The British SAS forces did everything they could to save the Iranians in the embassy siege that also included my uncle as one of the hostages.

Not the same way as the Iranians doing fuck all and coming up with the usual bs as "kare khareh engilisiahs"

Iran CP Football Paralympic Games Qualification

It is with great regret that the International Federation of CP Football and Local Organising Committee must announce that the Iran team will not be taking part in the 2015 CP Football World Championships starting on June 16th, for reasons beyond our control.
The tournament will now be for 15 teams, with Group A operating a three team group made up of Japan, Ukraine and England. For further information and updated fixture schedule click here
                      Paralympic Qualification
As the CP Football World Championships is the main qualifier for the Paralympic Games, Iran therefore do not have the opportunity to be part of the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games as there are no further qualificiation tournaments for which they are eligible.
As one of the top CP Football nations, it is disappointing that they will not be able to particpate in the next Paralympic Games.

Very convenient for England. Don't let your competitors in the tournament and you win. Hooray!
