i dont understand the frustration here, its an islamic country, islam says not to disfigure your body, so for athletes that kids look up to, having tattoos could be a bad influence, this news won't stick but even if it does i don't see the problem in the government caring for the upbringing of the youth, instead of brainwashing them with sex and drugs like in london. shouldn't be so quick to judge, maybe they have good intentions for the people, i rather see men playing football than care about how nice they do their zir abroo. but who cares stop making everything the regime does a big deal, did any player with tattoos or gay haircut say anything?? so why do people who are not players in iranian league care about players zir abroo,

Having tattoos is not agaisnt Shi'i belief.
What you say therefore makes no sense.
Also, I'm pretty sure long hair is not a problem for them. Case in point:

I dunno what all this amazing stuff only Iranians get to experience you are referring to tbh. Money leaving the country to Lebanon? Watching people get hung or disappear completely for speaking their minds? We had that during the Shah too you know, now we get that and but people don't even get to have "fun". At the very least wine. Why am I arguing with someone who thinks banning tattoos is somehow a moral issue though? I think they're ugly but who gives a shit? If you love jomboori islami go and leave precious london and live in qom and become sigeh for all the akhunds to relieve themselves.
