Yup, very uncharacteristic of CQs TM. I remember a year or two ago when we were playing Kuwait in an ACQ ando hoofed a silly long ball up the field and CQ went mad like never before. One dynamic that he changed the most in TM is the lack of bekan ziresh we see specifically from our defenders.....that's why today's game was the most shocking in CQs tenure.

WOW... A GREAT POPULARITY VOTE FOR CQ... AS USUAL 95%... THIS GUY IS LOVED BY THE NATION DESPITE SOME SHAKY TEMPORARY RESULTS

CQ get the job done man. We will be patient. Please put pressure on IFF though to get more friendlies with averagae and bad teams so we have a plan against grassrollers and defensive teams. We will have trouble in weakest group of the tournament. Oman may top the group easily because I do not think this team drop any points against any of these minnows so it will come down to us being forced to beat Oman home and away or at least not lose in Oman, which is a tough task by itself. Therefore, if you have decided to make your team a young vibrant team for the world cup, please and please get them prepared and let them know what are the costs of overconfidence and underestimating weaker opponents. Regardless of any team on the planet, when it comes to Iran, any team will go with all their power and guts as they all know our team is dangerous, let alone this weaker teams taht are after fame of defeating Iran. That is why we have never won against Turkemnistan .... GET THE JOB DONE WITH PATIENCE AND RESPECT ... PLEASE!

Where we (JUSTLY I MIGHT ADD) normally trip over each other to express our grief over our football federation and the countries leaders etc. I do feel that we should be more just and actually accept that it really is our own fault that our Football and country is in the state it is now. People deserve the leaders they get and its these types of posts that make me feel we should really start accepting that we don't deserve anything better than what we have now until our peoples mentality changes.

We got a unlucky draw, one freaking draw on a very bad field against a country we have never won against, firing a coach after all the BULLSHIT that we have just let behind us is perhaps a little to emotional and irrational !! just my two cents here

3 fatal errors led to the draw:

IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Have most people here never played football? The field was awful, on these fields in is very hard to pass the ball on the ground, run with the ball, dribble the ball... Teams like barcelona that pass the ball around a lot complain when the grass is a little long since it has a large negative effect on their play, if we play turkmenistan on a real pitch like azadi we will destroy them.

Did u see how many times the players passed the ball on the ground and a bump made the ball jump in the air leading to the player not being able to control the ball? They were forced to send long balls on the air, since ground passing was impossible

I am a CQ fan and want him to carry on but some of his tactics are ridiculous.

                    1) Playing Heydari as AM (WTF)
                    2) Playing Hajsafi as LM (please stop)
                    3) Playing Torabi fixed only because he scored a goal and not letting Saeed play

But it was nice to see us playing with 2/3 strikers for a bit for the first time under CQ.

Iran's "Bartar-e Bartarin Vatani Coach Sir M Mayeli Kohan" had Team Melli's Golden Generation in his squad and yet drew with TKM once and two losses including one in Azadi. Yet he was not fired and his squad went on to shine at 1996 Asia Cup despite losing their opener versus Iraq.

Queiroz did not have Jahanbakhsh, Dejagah, Hosseini in his squad. He also decided not to use one of TM's finest Asia Cup players Pouraliganji in this match. He also decided not to invite Beitashour, Sadeghi and few other veterans. So let's say he took risk and used this match as an experiment. Rest assured next match he will use regular players and go for a demolition of the opponent.

TKM coach very smart, he rested their foreign-based players for Guam match and Mingazow scored the goal for them to earn a tie with TM. One can only wonder how strong TKM would be should their coach decide to invite their Russia-based players. I won't be surprised if TK win all their remaining 3 home games.

Baba I don't care if he had a bunch of pedar-bozorgs from Qazvin, that match should have been won!! He failed BIIG time in tactical coaching, and so did the players, gaidan, they played like it was a sunday afternoon sargarmi thing. darse ebrat beshe vaseh hamashun. mesle sag mitarsidan football bazi konan. beran az Philippine yad begiran, yeki yeki team arabaro mibaran.

Ya can you believe it, he didn't even invite Nazari or Davari either [emoji33]

We lost a terrible match not because of the calibre of the players.

Japan tied Singapore. But let's admit it. CQ does not seem to know his own players.

There's no excuses anymore not to get at least 6 wins in this group. India home and away, guam home and away, turkmenistan and Oman at home. The only game that it wouldn't be horrible to draw is oman away. Even a loss vs oman away pretty much gives us a very low chance of coming first unless Oman slips up in other games.

So if he doesn't get at least 6 wins it should be considered.
