The Beach Soccer World Cup starts in 3 weeks and Iran has qualified and has been grouped with Brazil, Mexico and Spain.
We can use this thread as a news and live match update thread.
The Iranian beach soccer team is ranked 8th in the world going into the tournament.

Iran to Hold Camp in Brazil ahead of Beach Soccer World Cup

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beach soccer team arrived in Brazil on Thursday to hold a 12-day training camp to prepare for the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
Iran will play four warm-up matches with the Brazilian teams in its camp.
Team Melli will return to the country on June 28.
Iran has been drawn in Beach Soccer World Cup Group C along with Brazil, Mexico and Spain.
The trophy will be held in Espinho, Portugal, where the 16 finalists will fight it out for the right to become FIFA Beach Soccer world champion of 2015.

Our beach soccer competes at a high level and wins something, our TM ties teams like Turkmenistan jks jks
But on a serious note these beach soccer guys get paid nothing unlike our overpaid footballers, they deserve every trip they get

Unlike our IPL and TM, Beach soccer makes no money for IR thugs that's why it has no 'Hashieh" much like our Volley ball and basket ball.

not the most logical way of looking at it, they have had their fair share of cancelled camps, friendlies etc.... plus as someone else mentioned Tm players are paid peanuts compare to the IPL soosools

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beach soccer coach Marco Octavio said they have earned a historic win over Spain in the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
Iran came from behind to beat 2013 finalist Spain 6-5 in Group C.
"It was our second historic win in beach soccer world cup. We showed so much heart!" Iran's Brazilian coach Octavio told FIFA.com.
"That wasn't any old opponent, Spain has a fantastic team and put everything into going for the win. But thanks to the determination and heart this side has, anything is possible," he stated.
"In my opinion, [Spain's] Dona is the best keeper in the world. But our keeper Peyman Hosseini was on a par with him. What a great performance," added the strategist, whose team's next Group C encounter is against the mighty Brazil on Sunday.
"We want to go toe-to-toe with Brazil. That's our philosophy and we're not going to change that, however strong the opponents," vowed coach Octavio.
"We've a commitment to beach soccer and that commitment is to never show fear out on the field. We've got more than enough quality and courage to do that," the Brazilian went on to say.

Most TM players are in IPL? or overpaid at Al Goozestan Fc (Cashkan and Guzzi as another member mentioned). Were you under the impression TM players dont play for clubs and exclusively for TM?

Today is Iran vs Brazil at 18:30 Central European time at the FIFA Beach World Cup. We can use this as the thread for the live updates of the game!

Brazil won their second match at Portugal 2015, but it did not come easily to the four-time champions after Iran had a 3-1 lead in the first period.

Both sides had won their opening matches in Espinho—Brazil defeated Mexico 5-1 and Iran overcame Spain 6-5. The two teams were also drawn in the same group at Tahiti 2013. Brazil won that time around 4-1, but in Espinho, Iran made life much tougher on their South American opposition.

An exciting first period saw a brace by Amir Akbari put Iran ahead twice, including a 3-1 lead. However, goals from Bruno Xavier and Bokinha helped Brazil fight back to bring the match level by the end of the period.

The Brazilians reach closer to the quarter-finals, although they are not formally through. All four teams in Group C still have a chance of advancing to the last-eight.
