Ramin jan, i am quite sure it's been a while that you lived in Iran. Things got worse. Didn't a female hotel staff member just commited suicide because the hotel manager arranged her rape with some official jerk just to get better hotel ratings? Women are seen as K*s&K**n only. Our own members here from PFDC, Persianking and Shayan_M have been in iran just recently and both can cofirm what i say.
My main concern is that it is not a rare case i am talking about.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

That may be the case now but based on my personal experiences and observations in stadiums it certainly can't be the reason why this segregation was originally implemented. Any even so I don't see it as being more than cat calls which you have everywhere. It's not like women are getting raped on the streets on a daily basis. You'll have the occasional case of the hotel staff member but that's the exception not the norm.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

It's a fact that from all PFDC members only a few had the opportunity to attend a match inside Iran.
If you guys would only knew what is going on there, in no way you would want your sister, mom, aunt, wife or girlfriend ever set a single foot there.

We need to fix our fan culture aka "janbeh" first, then we can talk about letting women in.
During Iran vs Argentina game, there was a woman sitting next to my left who was wearing scarf, her husband on the other side, on my left a women with no scarf and we were all cheering for TM with no problem. During the game one guy (Who lived in Iran) from the row behind stood up and started swearing at one of our players and her husband asked him not to swear since there are family and women in particular in the stadium. The guy apologized and never repeated again.

I thought to myself if we could all cheer for TM here with no issues why can't we do it at home?

Now I agree that that our men in Iran have aboslutely no Janbeh and the prime example of that is after the world cup drawing where everyone attacked Lima's page and blaming her and her dress for not being able to watch the draw.

It's ironic that our stadium is called Azadi (Freedom) where only men are allowed to attend the game. They should serious change that name

The fact is that we don't know what will happen if Iranian men and women are in one stadium, mixed or not. We can only assume by looking at how Iranian men/women behave when their country plays outside Iran (good example is the Sweden game) or try to remember how it was in Iran's stadiums before 1979.

Personally I don't think women would be 'unsafe' if they were allowed to enter, because most Iranian men are 'civilized' enough. But unfortunately Iran also has a large bunch of crazy idiots that play a decisive role and spoil it for the other 85%.

In our culture we learn to respect women.. too much

I don't know exactly how to put it but it might be just that reason why Iranian women are under pressure.

I don't know why IRI does not want women in the stadium, apart from the ''if we allow that, they will ask more things from us'', but I can only assume that, when following islam, you want to do everything in your power to keep your women away from potential harm, thus they consider stadiums filled with excited men unsafe for Iranian women.
Once again this so called ''caring'' for women in our culture, which in my opinion, is more like pressure to them.
