Everything is best in moderation. If you want to read and get involved in every discussion that goes on here, you'll drive yourself to insanity. Best to limit yourself to a few key areas of interest.

Don't tell me that someone like Ebrahimi is a replacement of Nekounam.

Ebrahimi is like a Fiat next to a Mercedes Benz (Nekounam).

Top two teams from the 1st round advance from each group right? In all honesty, I don't think bringing back Neku is a detrimental idea. This team needs leadership and obviously after the Turkmenistan game there isn't a true one to be found. Oman and Guam are bound to beat India and Turkmenistan, so there can't be any slip ups. We need to pound Guam at home to set a statement and induce confidence within the team. If we don't win then, finishing the group is going to be INCREDIBLY stressful. And to say the least, the team or fans don't need stress in the first round. Atleast not yet -- it's too early lol

Since when is a camel humper as evident by its twitter background pic: https://twitter.com/ahdaafme a reliable source of news?

We just switched captains and everyone is freaking out. The team obviously needs some time and there's no way we will no how ando is as a captain until we see many more games , I doubt any captain was "good" from day one, it's something to be learned and ando has the personality and experience. The people wanting ando out are idiots. He was one of our best in wc and ac. Our team against Turkemenstan was far from a full team anyways. I wonder if Japan fans are freaking out this much [emoji23][emoji160]

I think it is a good call to let Nekounam back in since we really can't afford to drop a single point from now on.
If we can't qualify from this group without him, we don't belong in the same hemisphere as the World Cup.

a full team should not really be necessary to beat the likes of Guam and Turkmenistan. We should beat these guys without the likes of dejagah and jahanbaksh. We are only making excuses for ourselves if we complain that we didn't have 2 players

Ramin jaan, whether Nekounam is too old or not is a different discussion, but let's just have one legend that said farewell to TM and didn't come back to "save us". We don't need it.

Let's leave Nekounam in Spain and just move forward, even thinking of bringing him back for the games against Guam, India and the others is just shameful.

If we can't make it ouf of the group with these calibre opponents withou Nekounam, then we have no business at a world cup. We have great talents such as Beiranvand, Pouraliganji, Ezatolahi, Jahanbakhsh and Azmoun, in the company of experienced and decent players such as Ando, Pooladi and Dejagah. It's time we form a new team in order to gain succes. In my opinion Quieroz should become more open to an attacking team. This should be our line up:

                              Beiranvand

                              Ghafouri, Pouraliganji, Montazeri, Pooladi

                              Ezatolahi Ando Hajsafi

                              Dejagah Jahanbaksh

                              Azmoun

This is a great line up: 4-3-2-1, it suits Quieroz's defensive style, and makes up for our lack of a quality offensive midfielder, a number 10 so to say, by combining the qualities of Dejagah and Jahanbaksh. It's also a blend of younger talents and older experienced players.
