It's not about who plays better football currently. It's about having an Iran All-Star Team Vs. World All-Star team. If this is the motto then they should stick to it and not squeeze some random people in that either had no impact on TM or even have nothing to do with football.

I agree to some extent with you PK. "Celebrities" should not be involved unless it is like a celebrity charity match.

At the same time, people who are included should be able to play football currently, at least to some degree. Majidi may not have been much on TM level, but he was a good player of Iranian football. Remember when we played the AC Milan All Stars and so many of our guys were out of shape, while theirs were mostly in decent shape?

At least Majidi is hitting the gym on a constant basis and is setting a good example. I like that he is included, heck, I would even include Nikbakht considering the shape he is in.

Take out the non-footballers like Adel and add Nibakht, Yahya, etc..


Edit: In the end, this is a charity match though. So we should just have some fun with it :P

The reason this is because the "honarmandan" team has organized this entire event, they are a team with the combination of former iranian footballers and celebrities, they are actually a really good cause and only play for charities..etc. Thats why there are a lot of celebrities on this team, this is actually a charity event so the score really doesn't matter, even if we lose 10-0
