I dont like the idea of Ferdosipour Merdosipour playing either but actually this happens quite a lot in charity matches. For example in Germany there are always guys like Michael Schumacher or Dirk Nowitzki taking part in this matches. However i agree would be nice to see football players instead of them.
But i actually think our team stands a good chance against them. Mahdavikia, Karimi, Hashemian, Majidi are all under 40 and have all retired not too long ago.
Anyone has a full list of the world stars team?

I know but the numbers are not adding up, reports suggest the cost of the game is about 1 billion toman, and the money will be paid from the ticket sell!! wonder how much will be left for any donation

Khatibi is also playing, its good news, we need more fit players.

I would rather see Amir Mafia plays to watch Khatibi. I have been traumatized by Khatibi style of play and lack of finishing skills. I genuinely hate this guy.

He actually coaches a team and doesn't live in Tehran.
He doesn't really have the time.
The rest of the all-star team are either unemployed or live/work in Tehran.
If there is 1 Iranian played-out, supposed legend that's currently Best known in world of football, it's him ..!
From foriegner's (organizers)perspective @ least, he would be the one player on our side who's participation would bring some hype & notoriety to this tokhmy game ..!
I'm fairly sure he woulda worked something around his job in order to participate if it wasn't for mighty AK8 intimidating presence already there & Daie's typical khodkhahi O soosool bazi ..!
                      Hala bekhial
                      Like I said, koone laghesh
