It's NOT our logic. As I already said, it uses the exact same ranking procedure used by FIFA to rank the teams at the group stage. This is the ONLY objective/factual manner in which you can rank the teams - anything else would be highly subjective.

It's also the same way FIFA does their all-time WC ranking http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/st...erankings.html

I haven't seen one for individual tournaments, even though they have an empty section for it, but they use the exact same procedure to rank 2nd or 3rd placed teams in individual tournaments (such as in Euro qualifying when the top N 2nd placed teams make it to the playoffs, or he Women's World Cup where some 3rd placed teams made it to the knock-out rounds or in the current edition of the Asian qualifiers for the WC where the 2nd and 3rd placed teams need to be ranked).

Unfortunately Ali jaan this guy is MUCH worse and epitomizes everything that is wrong with our country and culture at the moment.

There is absolutely no difference between people like this and those hezbollahis that showed up to the volleyball game and called women prostitutes for wanting to watch a volleyball game.

They all try to project their dark (and often disgusting) suppressed sexual thoughts onto those who do not agree with their ignorant, narrow-minded, backward and perverse views of the world, in order to discredit them.

Not to mention that it's pretty pathetic for someone who lurks in the shadows and nobody knows or has ever met and who talks about youngsters in every post, and exchanges PM's with 14 year olds (pretty obvious from the language) to call someone else a closet a creep!

Knowing this may give a better understanding about our current situation as a society. Many Iranians specially inside Iran are suffering from depression and mental disorder caused by years of suppression, and social and economical hardships.

20% of Iranians depressed: Roll with the punches in life
          http://www.payvand.com/news/08/aug/1323.html

23% of Iranians have mental disorders
          http://www.iran-daily.com/News/111144.html

Last year it was announced that 21 percent of the population of Iran and 34 percent of people in Tehran have some form of mental or psychological disorder. Doctor Ahmad Jalili, the former head of Iran’s psychological association, who is now its senior advisor, had earlier told Rooz of the growing number of individuals with mental issues in Iran

Government officials also have talked about mental issues facing the population. Iraj Harirchi, the deputy minister of health for example, had said earlier that between 24 to 28 percent of Iranians suffered from some form of mental and psychological issue and consequently needed professional intervention and treatment.

BTW, I'm still having a hard time understanding how this article can be viewed as anti-CQ, anti-TM, anti-Iran, blah blah blah in the eyes of any objective reader.

As the title suggests and it's clearly laid out in the body of the article, this is about the performance of TM (as a whole) in two specific periods - one which the article goes on to say is worthy of praise and the other the cause for some concern, based on statistics.

Now, the last time I checked - and maybe Bleachers Report has other information - CQ was in charge of TM during both of these periods, TM was pretty much unchanged during those periods and so was Iran!

And the only mention of CQ in the article was that he can lift TM to a stellar performance at any time. The article finishes by saying that the fans are certain the sun will shine on them in the remainder of the journey and this whole series is called "Iran's Journey to Russia"!!!

I don't know how some people find the most unlikely interpretation of such obvious things, but the name of the series would suggest the author believes that we will make it to Russia!

Holly $hit. Did that really happen.

A bunch of brainwashed individuals who don't know any better I guess. I have always said, religion is OK but anytime you incorporate it into politics, you get a CRAP which is the IR.
