well it is good to know YOU are part of the problem then the SOLUTION. and it is clear where your interest stands. If this is the way to think, than we have no hope of equal rights in Iran.

you are taking a short term gratification then a long and delayed results.

Why can't they let women in the stadium and create a seperate section for women only? This would be a good first step to gender equality during sport games in Iran.

^^there are many ways of fixing the issue and that is one way!!

however their logic is backward and retarded just like them, they keep arguing that the environment in the stadium is not "safe and sound" to allow women in the stadium!!

these idiots instead of punishing the Men for creating this "unsafe" environment they are punishing the group that has not done anything wrong.

it is like a teach kicking out all the good students from her class because the "moobsir" or the "rofoozeh" kid are making the classroom environment "unsafe" for learning LOOL

if this sounds ridiculous to you, well it should!!

Time and again IRI has proven that if they are not FORCED to do anything they are happy with "status quo". otherwise if left to them there will be no change. that is exactly how they want things. Just take a look at the PP and SS auction fiasco LOOOL. If it was not for AFC, we would not have teams in ACL, we would not have a IPL as we know it and we would not even hear about "privatization"

this was all AFC trying to create and improve football leagues in Asia.

ridiculous way of looking at this, just because they are not saying anything about Saudi they should not say anything about iran LOOL
As I said, that's FIFA's task to care

if they do, the hezbollahis would be killing 2 birds with one stone.

                No TM in WC
                No women in stadiums

Hezbis would jump on that deal

Off topic but how would a regime change impact our national team? Would it make everything better or potentially worse?

You are asking a question which is impossible to answer in the current context.
                    It is complicated as fuck.
To answer it as simple as possible: nothing!

Why you may ask? Because our regime is the mirror of our people. To have improvement in sports (every other sector is meant too ofc) we need to change way more things than replace Akhoonds with other people in power (as if ever about to happen)
To make it very very veeeeeeeery short:
The bodies in charge MUST fight corruption and install reliable, loyal, hard working people. (as if any iranian matches that lol)
The people MUST change their janbeh. From learning to wait in the queue mesle adam hesabi to littering in stadiums to respect their own team to respect women in a heated envirnoment like a football stadium.
Women MUST learn to NOT behave and dress like tranny whores who fell in a bucket of random colours.
                    List is endless.

TL;DR: WE must change from within, then the rest will improve automatically.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Good point and very well explained.

Unfortunately the regime will never limit the freedoms of Iranian men for the sake of Iranian women. That is simply not islamic.

Islamic Republic of Iran is a men's country.
