In tennis we are very far from producing something, our best players are very very far ranked, our davis cup teams is in 2nd or 3rd asian division. And I don't think that's a sport that passion iranians.

About formula 1, it is difficult because even if you have the talents, you have to have money and contact/partybazy to enter a team

The next sport on Iran's raidar is Field Hockey. We have been a dominant force in bball, vball, football ( all versions) at the Asian level and this seems to be the new sport Iranian Sports Ministry is targetting for our team game.

How exactly is Mexico ranked 6th in the world?! They got thrashed by Brazil and lost 3-1 to Spain with Spain hitting the post twice and missing an empty netter.

Their goal today was off a penalty and against Brazil after they were down 5-0. One would have expected the results to be much tighter if they were anywhere as good as their ranking suggests.
