it will be a 3-way tie break between Iran, Brazil and Spain.
if Spain beat Brazil in extra time or penalties, Brazil and Iran are through
if Span beat Brazil by 2 goals or more, Spain and Iran are through
if Spain beat Brazil by 1 goal, with the score of 6-5 or more, Brazil and Span are through
if Spain beat Brazil by 1 goal, with the score of 5-4 or less, Iran and Span are through
in short, we were VERY lucky not to concede the 5h goal. but still our fate is NOT in our hand anymore, Brazil and Spain can fix their matches to qualify both. even though it's unlikely. we have to beat Mexico in regular time for 3 points, that's all we can do.

It's unlikely that Spain will beat Brazil in the first place. I think we are pretty secure if we simply manage to beat Mexico. Also don't forget that it's likely that we can beat Mexico by 2 or more goals, and therefore making ourselves even more safe.

why do you think beating Mexico by 2 or more matters ? by 5 maybe but 2 no way, only in case of a 6-5 score for Spain, we can advance over Brazil by beating Mexico by more than 4.

(1) Goal differential in matches between Brazil, Iran and Spain. If it is still tied, then it goes to:
(2) Greatest number of goals scored in all matches between Brazil, Iran and Spain. If it is STILL tied, THEN it goes to:
(3) Goal differential in ALL matches.
So beating Mexico by 2 or more goals like you say, only matters if 1 AND 2 above result in ties.

My analysis against Brazil
1. Goalkeeping: Hosseini excellent short-range game and one of the best agile blockers in the tournament. His long-range game, including his passing/placement could improve
2. Defense: solid overall, really disrupted the fluid Brazilian flow (until the very end). Looked less able to keep up with Brazil at the end, so improved conditioning may be in order
3. Offense: Obviously quite good so far, with a win against Spain, and a near win against Brazil. However, relied to heavily on long-range shots (particularly in the end). Would like to see some more passing to set up closer attacks to the goal. This may also be improved with more conditioning.
Overall assessment: TM is doing very well, and has impressed everyone. If playing on this level, should be able to overcome Mexico and reach knockout stage.

I am not trying to bitch or anything guys
Iran has played excellent and it is a great team among the best of the world now...
Now when FIFA talks about chances of chamionship and title, the name of Iran is mentioned everywhere. It is a sophisticated world class Beach Soccer style. However you shall note that the chances of qualifying in such tough group is slim. Iran was unlucky to be grouped with Spain and Brazil; the best of the world. Now how they have managed to place three of the best in one group; then placing all the weaj in other groups; one wonders! the weakest of this groupo is mexico that has made to the final match once in its history!
Now, we had our fate in our hands; but we conceded two goals in less that 1 minute. What Brazil did to us, was what we did against Spain. Now the odds are still there, but if it doesn't happen, do not worry, Iran is still one of the best ... Why I say that? It is not impossible for Spain to beat Brazil; therefore when they need it the most, they shall do it and in the other hand, Mexico is not Tahiti So be open to any possibility please CheerssigpicSUPPORT TEAM MELLIIRAN- IRAN - ONLY IRAN
IRAN OUT OF AFC NOW!
