he hesitated for a second and the ball passed him..!! understandable mistake for a keeper who is badly lacking match sharpness..!! he was also awful late and slow reacting to couple of shots which narrowly missed our uprights..!
goal conceded was more fault of Haj Safi than him.
inexcusably weak man-marking and horrible overall defensive display by ehsan today..!! besides his seemed to be miss-hit low cross that assisted Hossaini's goal, didnt do shitt worthy of mention on offensive front as well..!!

I said it several months ago, Beiranvand is currently the best Iranian goalkeeper technically (pretty impressive considering he is 23 years old) and Haghighi plays over him as he has more experience and European experience/training. But I expect Beiranvand to take the number 1 spot during around the start of the next round

I am not either convinced about Beiranvand, we don't have any top keeper. It was Abdezadeh and during sometime Rahmati was very promising and actually closest to Abdezadeh, still with his age i consider him better than both Beiranvand and Haghighi, i am not his fan as person but it sucks he had shitty attitude, he was and still is a decent goalie..

All of our GK's make mistakes guys. It always comes back to the blame game. Our entire team was bad today. Haghighi made a mistake, sure, but Davari did, Rahmati did, Biranvand has for his club and likely will for TM, etc. I've always advocated that we not pick on specific players. If our team does well, it's a team effort. No one player wins matches. Each goal is set up by a team. If we fail, we fail as a team. All of the moving parts were broken today, and to pinpoint Haghighi is not fair. The guy still is our most experienced GK, and this was one bad performance. He has performed admirably for nearly 1 year. He even had some good reactions and reflexes today. The goal was bad, but please, stop with this emotional and reactionary behavior. Our team really will become a revolving door of instability if we continue to praise and bash like we do. Haghighi made a mistake, Dejagah made a bunch, Sardar was a ghost, Hajsafi was poor overall... I can literally point out flaws in every player who played today. We all know these things. What will picking at the scab do? We know and have seen all of these players play amazingly in the past. Give them a break, it is one game in a long road, and the team needs our support. We should acknowledge overall structural problems with the team instead of picking on CQ specifically, or Shojaei, or Dejagah, or Haghighi. That solves nothing. The players are what we have. Most of the IPL starlets we want tested like Rafaei, Rahmani, Rezaei, etc. have been tested more than a few times with lukewarm results. Let's focus on building a solid and stable team. We will see better performances when TM is no longer a revolving door on the bench.
