Despite things not looking well on paper, this season so far has been quite delightful - in terms of fan atmosphere, football quality, talent, team spirit... It's just a matter of time until we will get what we deserve, just continue like that and justice will come. After a long time we are finally witnessing a TEAM again, a spirit that reminds me of TM under CQ. Today we were missing like 4 key players and played with 10 men for more than an hour, yet this didn’t stop us from playing a good game. It's wonderful to see that despite so many injuries/suspensions + horrible officiating the team doesn’t give up and instead fights until it’s over. Kudos to Branko for creating such a chemistry and passion - although I think the referees + Norouzi's death had an impact here as well.

Just review some of our games:
vs. Sepahan (at the time they were still in top form with Hajsafi) we played on eye level, until the referee messed it up. Vs. Zob Ahan, that apparently plays the best football in Iran, we were completely superior and without joking could have won by 6 goals, but our finishing and again laughable referees denied us. Vs. Esteghlal, the current leader of the league table, we again were the better team and made them defend with 11 men, but again our finishing prevented us from getting 3 points. Vs. Zob Ahan today we played a good match even with 10 men, but we lost due to the same reasons once again...Overall the two main reasons that have prevented us from better results so far:

#1. Our abysmal finishing
#2. Pathetic refereeing decisions

Branko has been working on our defensive holes and we are improving each week, however he still has not found a solution to start fixing our finishing...we have to wait & see...

Omid Alishah is an egnine and IMO has the best stamina for the league . today he single handedly penetrated Zob Ahan's defense with the help of Alipour. - BUT FFS he just can’t finish his damn chances! So far he missed plenty of sitters, by now he should have been the top scorer. 1 vs. Sepahan, 3 vs. Zob Ahan, 1 vs. Esteghlal and today another 1 vs. Zob Ahan are just top of my mind lol.

Anyway, heads up!!!

Persepolis has many good players now, only mismanagement and financial problems are holding back the team. SS rooster is less appealing compared to Persepolis in this season.

I am all for Mohammad Nouri! We need him badly - his playmaking abilities and experiences are missed. Too many times he saved our ass in the past years!

Khalatbari is a club whore; please never go after him again.
Between Rafier & Rahmani - I prefer Rafiei. Better attitude and more stable.
Regarding Farid Karimi, do we really need another forward?

It's a bit worrisome that we are not looking to get Hosseini back or at least another good CB - or most importantly, a good LB! Also Khaleghifar should be removed and maybe Gholamreza Rezaei should replace Hadi Norouzi (RIP) due to their similar style.

Seems like Taremi is sparking interest not only from IFK Göteborg, but also Hammarby in Swedish premier division Allsvenskan. Sources in Sweden say that Hammarbys Managing Director Henrik Kindlund was in Tehran to witness the derby.
