Tahiti or Italy will win it all! Thats what I believe. The one that goes to the final will win it all!

Remember Tahiti beat Russia the current champions in their group so they are no pushovers. Also undefeated so far this tournament

Also Tahiti came 4th last time !

Tahiti had plans, they had set pieces which resulted in goals.

Yes, Iran hit the Tahiti post 4-5 fives, but so did Tahiti twice.

It was a close match and a good experience for Iran.

Tahiti was slightly better as they controlled the ball 60% to Iran's 40%

Airani possession means nothing in Beach Soccer. One can win with 10/90% by 5 goals.

Tahiti possessed the ball well and were physically very strong. Their 5th goal had great build up.

We need to control the flow of the game better and stop diving. More possession! Great accuracy on our shots though.

Isn't the whole country of Tahiti basically just a beach. They can train at all times

That was a good performance by our boys, luck wasn't on our side. We hit the post many times just one or two of those shots could have changed the outcome if it was just a few inches closer.....that's football though. We can hold our heads high leaving the tournament because we played four very good games. Dameshoon garm.

I also think Tahiti will go all the way...their set pieces were brilliantly executed.

Tahiti was simply the better team and is the best team among all others too. It was obvious they were going to win the todays game and without any doubt to win the whole tournement. Good organized team with very high selfconfidence....they deserved it to win.

We should be glad to have lost with small margin.

Tahiti is not an expensive place to train. Iran should send its several teams there to practice and train with Tahiti people and team.

After all, this is how countries that did not have wrestling teams learned from Iran. They hired Iranian coaches, they came to Iran and trained with our athletes. Heck a few of our athletes changed nationalities (to USA and to Azerbaijan for example) to wrestle for others. Iranian wrestling team, even B and C teams can win medals in many events. Yaani, Iran is good in wrestling.

Iran has plenty of sandy locations. It needs to practice with good teams. I was worried our main goal keeper who was injured in Mexico game not to play in Tahiti game.

I desire a day when our National teams will be in the hands of people rather than government. Our beach soccer players do not get much (support) in comparison to our regular soccer players.

Not saying you're wrong about any of your points but most of our taekwondo guys and wrestlers who switch nationalities only do so because they want to compete. In wrestling and taekwondo if you're not chosen by your country to play in international events then you're not getting any money and can't do anything. So most of these athletes have no choice. None of our first team guys do that. Lots of foreigners do it to, Vladimir Pak in taekwondo for Russia and Tim Cook for Moldova are examples.

too bad we lost. As I expected we did not show up and use our opportunities. We give away too many easy goals. we probably have one of the best goalkeepers i the tournament but he can only do so much. i was watching the Brazil game, on thing i noticed is how well they attack as a team and how well they come back and defend as a team, sure they lost, but they have the right idea on offense and defense!!

That was some poor defending from Iran, nonexistent..

Not denying your argument. For example, there has to be a rotation to various tournaments. Such as Film festivals. Give a chance to every film producer or director to participate and gain experience and award.

                            Side notes:
The issue is deep and cannot be answered in few lines. So a prostitute (does not matter male or female) may argue that he or she has to make a living.

There is something called: Pride or National Pride which is the highest for any person. The likes of Takhti is admired everywhere in Iran. This is some essence hard to explain.

What you are saying is certainly true. I am a big proponent of national pride. But if a wrestler, for example, has been training his entire life and has no education or marketable skills finds himself in a position where he is the second or third best and has no way of making any big international tournaments, he may have to prioritize making an income and feeding his family over national pride. It's a natural instinct.

Fortunately for us Iranians, the guys who do take up other national teams aren't good enough to beat our first team guys, so no worries
